About The New Teapot Cafe
The New Teapot Cafe is a daytime cafe in Walsall where food is cooked to order and orders are placed at the counter, with no bookings taken. Breakfast sandwiches carry much of the trade, with bacon, sausage and egg combinations in bread rolls that come generously filled, and sausage and egg on toast as another way to start. Roast dinners are also on offer, and many go out packed up rather than eaten in. The kitchen works around special requests and dietary requirements, leaving an ingredient off a plate when asked. Alongside eating in, takeaway and ordering through the Just Eat app suit customers eating at home, and hot food reaches addresses a few miles out. The owner runs the place with a small team of women. It trades Monday to Saturday through the daytime and closes on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast sandwiches and cooked breakfasts draw the most mentions, including a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich, sausage and egg on toast with brown sauce, and bread rolls with plentiful fillings that reviewers call lush. The Sunday roast comes close behind, taken as a takeaway and described by one diner as better than a carvery, with a few urging others to try the Sunday dinners. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and quick, and the cafe as clean and pleasant. One says dairy requirements are tailored to, and a delivery diner reports the food arriving hot. Prices split opinion: some call them reasonable or cheap, while others say it is not the cheapest but justified by quality ingredients. Two reviewers report order slips, one with a paid-for tomato missing from a delivered sandwich and another who received two pieces of crust and plans to ask for none next time. One regular notes the lady owner always remembers a roast with no cabbage.
