Quick info
About H Cafe
Set in the traditional roadside style, H Cafe is a biker cafe in Wallingford at Deacon's Garage, right next to Infinity Motorcycles. Bikes of all makes and sizes gather outside, and bike nights give riders a regular evening meeting point. The cafe also hosts regular car meetings. The family-run kitchen cooks English breakfasts and burgers, and the breakfast arrives on a large plate with sausages, bacon and black pudding. Bikers travelling through, locals and people without bikes all use the place. Dogs are welcome, so customers can bring them along.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers mostly come for the biker crowd, describing a busy roadside cafe where riders of all makes and sizes mingle, and where the bikes on show draw even people without one. Monday and Thursday bike nights have regulars, and one reviewer notes that regular car meetings are welcomed too. The cooked breakfast is the food named most often. One calls it huge, well cooked and quickly served, and another singles out the bacon and black pudding. Several describe the staff as friendly and fantastic. The food draws a split verdict, though. One diner found the plate looked large but the portions were not, and said the sausages tasted a bit cheap. Another called the food not great and said the place is not as good as it used to be. One reviewer with a food allergy says they were well looked after, and a regular describes a family place where customers are known by name.

“Bit disappointing. Not anywhere near as good as it used to be. It looks quite dirty and dated inside with a really weird mix of decor. Food wasn’t great. Needs a good clean and tidy up.”

“Great roadside cafe in the traditional style. Good food and service. They host regular car meetings and are always very accommodating. Well worth dropping in on a car or bike run out.”

“Breakfast wasn’t bad and price was a bit lower than the usual price. The atmosphere is good. Every time I go here if a certain person on the till is serving I get short changed by a couple of quid. He must be doing this lot to make his wages up.”
