  “Visited for the first time at the weekend. Very busy bustling place. Staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and very quick to take our drinks and food order. Starters were very nice indeed, mains also. Very happy with the food we had and the prices offered excellent value for money. The only negative thing I can say about the place was initially we felt a little cramped. It was a table for two which was on the far side against a wall, the diner behind me had taken up quite a bit of space which made it a bit tricky at first to sit comfortably. Thankfully they left which meant we could push the chairs out a bit and it was much easier. That being said - wonderful evening, lovely friendly staff and thanks for the great recommendation of a local Fish and Chip shop. I would recommend booking - they were very busy when we visited. :-)”

  “Only had a takeaway from here before but after an amazing meal this evening with perfect service, it's somewhere I'll be coming back to whenever I want an authentic, delicious Italian meal. Absolutely top notch and all 6 of us loved our meals.”

  “Our absolute favourite place ever to go. The team are incredible, everyone is so attentive and friendly and we just love the vibe. We do not get anything at all like this anywhere else we visit and whenever we eat anywhere else we are left feeling like we should have just come to Garda! The food is just unbelievable every time. As a local salon owner whenever my clients visit I get the same feedback from them too! Never ever dissapointed! Thank you for being amazing 🫶🏻”

  “We attended for Mothers Day. The food was nice but we did feel let down. You could only order from the set menu which was £35. It had a few dishes on and then you could have any pasta or pizza from the main menu. The trouble is the items on the set menu were the same or very similar to the normal menu for a lower price! For example, if I wanted the mozzarella and then duck this would have come to around £25 on the normal menu but it was £35 on the set menu! We felt that we needed to order steak to get our monies worth (even though I didn’t really want steak) Usually on set menus the price is cheaper as a bonus for ordering 2 courses. Not here. The steak was a steak with a sauce, no accompaniments (which you get on the main menu cheaper) you got a side of fries or salad but it still didn’t add up. My son had pizza bread and a tortellini pasta, menu price £20:45 but because it was Mothers Day set menu we had to pay £35!! We left feeling ripped off.”

  “Where do I start I was recommended to this place by an elderly customer of mine so I rang 6pm on sat eve ro see if they had a table for 2 at 7pm to which the said yes and booked me in so got there at 6.50 and checked in as I was early thought will sit and wait it got to 7.10 and and no one had come to take a drinks order while we was waiting so I went and asked for a bottle of wine which came at 7.25 we was still waiting for our table but as it was a late booking I thought we may have to wait so we finally got seated at 7.45 with menus then they came to take our order at 8.15 then the starters came at 9pm so we are talking 1hr 35 min just to get the starters so was starting to get a little annoyed but thought it was a late booking now when we got there there was people at their tables waiting for their food finished the starters at 9.10 so thought mains can't be long at 9.30 the plates from starter was collected at 9.50 I asked the waiter have they forgotten our mains to which he said the kitchen is slow tonight at 10pm we got our mains now at this point I'm thinking it's taken a while but the food is OK so thinking this is all because of us booking it last min but then I spoke to the people at the next table who had been waiting a long time to get their food and he said he booked it yesterday and got there before the booking Time and still had to wait hours for food so it wasn't only us and all the people who was in when we came in was waiting looking irate too finished our food at 10.15 and was waiting for the waiter to collect plates and bring the bill in the end at 10.30 I just went to the counter and asked for the bill and was met with the rudest and most belligerent member of staff I have ever dealt with who effectively blamed our late booking for a 2.5 hour sitting I have to say the waiter and the young female waitress were very polite and understanding just the one barman who gave the bill was rude all I have to say is never again I used to love it there when it was Orlandos but not for me was planning on going there for a meal with a group of friends but I would rather go to kfc and to top it off I spent most of the night after on the toilet so that cemented the fact that I will not return”

  “What a wonderful restaurant! Made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped foot inside the door. Very pleasant and friendly staff, who catered to our every need. Food was to a very high standard, with lots of different things to choose from. Particularly enjoyed the deep fried pizza dough bites alongside the olives and regular breads while we perused the menu. They were very light and tasty, will look forward to them next time! A comprehensive range of drinks were available too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and everyone in our party of 6 were well looked after. Will definitely be returning very soon!”

  “What a great find for breakfast!!! The Garda Hut serves full breakfasts which can be eaten inside. Food was great and well needed. Service great, place great. Overall we'll come again but need to try the restaurant for Italian food too on an evening. I'm sure it will be just as amazing. Large car park.”

  “Was a very disappointing from the start to the finish of the evening. When we arrived they didn't know about my booking but the booking was there. Then we been escort to the table, very thither space, very hot, air conditioning was not working and the restaurant was full of flies especially where we was sitting. We spend all dinner try to eat and catch flies on the same time, very frustrating and the Manager told us that is because of the Farm. That's not an answer! As a food premises you should have a fly trappers every where especially if there is a Farm near, very poor hygiene as flies like be around food. Also fixing the air conditioning because every one was complaining was too hot. The food was not the best, I had a calzone which was swimming in a tomato sauce, not nice at all. The restaurant is very nice but the atmosphere and the Management is very poor. I am an Operation Manager and also a Hotel inspector so I know what I am talking about.”
