Quick info
About Dolce Vita
Dolce Vita is an Italian restaurant at 110 The Combs in Dewsbury, set inside a converted old pub whose original architecture gives the room a quirky character. The kitchen serves Italian food, with the option to take home any leftovers from the meal, a small practical touch that suits longer sit-down dinners. The dining room operates on a reservations-required basis, and a wait is common at peak times, so booking ahead is built into the format rather than a casual walk-in setup. The setting carries the feel of a former public house, with the structure of the old bar and fittings shaping how the space works for guests, and the room takes full advantage of the building's proportions for a relaxed Italian dinner service.

“First Italian restaurant I tried after moving into the area. Was okay/good, but not amazing. Nothing really negative to say. Quirky premesis which looks like it used to be an old pub which adds to the charm. Service was good and pretty quick. Think we were in and out in under an hour. Cant comment on how long waiting for a table as we booked”

“We had a table for 3 booked for 7pm and it took 30 mins before our order was taken. Then the food arrived nearly an hour later. No apology was given either”
