Customer Review Summary
Steak and pasta draw the most praise, with one diner calling them cooked perfectly and others describing food full of flavour and well presented on a busy Saturday evening. Staff are described as kind and friendly, with nothing too much trouble, including requested changes to a dish, and one longtime regular calls the setting beautiful. Reviews split sharply on execution and service, though. Another diner found the steak dry and the pasta lacking flavour, and a different table reported undercooked pizza, overcooked chicken in a runny sauce and a flavourless salmon tagliatelle. Several describe feeling ignored: menus thrown onto the table, a manager greeting other tables but not theirs, slow cocktails, and no one returning after the mains to offer drinks, dessert or the bill. One online order arrived with items missing, and the restaurant suggested sending the missing item separately rather than resending what had been paid for.

“Ordered online. Forgot items from the order. Instead of offering to send what was paid for, they suggested to send the missing item separately (knowing everything else would be cold by the time it arrives) For the price, I expect better. Poor experience all round.”

“It was quite early when we ate so not many other diners in to start, but it got busier as time went on. This is why I've only given 4 stars for atmosphere. The food and service were excellent.”

“Had a great experience here on a busy Saturday evening. The food was full of flavour and well presented. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, and the team were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.”

“The drinks were nice, and some of the food was good quality. We weren’t happy about the service at all and felt we were avoided and ignored for the majority of the evening. The young waitresses were nice and helpful when bringing our food and taking our plates. The manager didn’t come to check on us once, but managed to say hello to every other table and ask how their meals were. We weren’t greeted appropriately when we walked in, we were asked if we had a table booked in a rude tone and our menus were just thrown on the table in a pile. Even though my name was on the booking, she didn’t even speak to me or look us in the eye. Our drinks took around 10-15 minutes to arrive after we ordered them. I understand we ordered cocktails but surely they can’t be that difficult to make. The restaurant wasn’t even busy the evening that we went and we still weren’t served properly. We weren’t rude or rowdy, we were just trying to enjoy a meal and were treated like dirt. Won’t be going back unless they start to serve their customers appropriately and in a professional way. Shocking.”

“The service was terrible from the moment we walked in. Part of our party were delayed and I was early but still they tried to rush me to my table. When we eventually sat down the starters were ok but the mains were diabolical. Undercooked pizza, overcooked chicken in a runny sauce and a salmon tagliatelle which was flavourless. My partner paid the bill and went to wait outside and as I left i was accused of not paying. A birthday treat for my son totally spoilt.”
