  “Visited last night for my sons birthday meal, we always book for special dates, never had a bad experience. I have rated it 5 star before, but I have to be honest in review, it slightly disappointed last night. Upon ordering drinks, we specifically said no ice in one, it came with ice. They changed it straight away. Took a while for them to take food order. Carbonara pasta was dry, no sauce in it at all. I ordered lobster ravioli, it was like rubber, chewy, I didn't eat it. Then the young waitress with hair tied back, blonde hair, was at next table to us talking to customers and slating previous customers off. Our table heard ever word, and we all said she needs to learn customers service, you should never bad mouth previous customers to any other customers. And she knew we had heard her. However, the rest of service was fantastic as always. Thank you for playing happy birthday and fetching him a dessert, that was lovely. We will definitely be back.”

  “I wouldn’t not recommend eating here as I would recommend it. But you need to make sure you understand the menu before going so you know what you’re eating. We came last night for hubby birthday and we had pasta meals. Now the pasta meal I usually eat down at the container branch wasn’t on the menu at the vine. I asked what the sausage ragu was has I’ve never had it before. I specifically asked are they plain pork sausages and the waitress said yes! And I asked is the sauce plain tomato base sauce again she said yes! So I said ok I’ll try it. When the meal arrived it was salami or chorizo style sausages. I can’t eat these. And there was some sort of beef mince in the sauce again I don’t eat beef never have done! So for £18.95 my meal went to waste. I did manage to scrap everything off some of the pasta and was able to eat pasta plain but there was barely any pasta on plate as it was mainly sauce and the chorizo / salami style sausages. That’s why gave 4 star as I was given false information from the beginning. If I’d known this at the beginning I wouldn’t have ordered this. So I left this place with no tea hungry! Which we had to stop off somewhere on way home to pick something up. Other than that the place is extremely large and beautifully decorated and some of the other staff are friendly and welcoming. We usually go to the container and never had an issue there but thought we try this one and obviously this happened. We don’t know if we’ll return to this again due to that staff member giving false information. For someone whom barely eats meat and only eats certain meat is a massive thing for me. So to serve me mince meat in a sauce after telling me it’s plain is massive thing for me.”

  “Horrendous service. Completely ruined 60th birthday, constantly chasing staff for our order. Never again! They either need less tables or more staff but they can’t run at same capacity like they are. Mountain of mucky glasses and mucky tables…. Absolutely 5h1tshow!!!”

  “I went to the Capri function room yesterday for a 40th birthday party, and honestly, it was fantastic. The room itself is a great size — spacious enough for everyone to sit comfortably without feeling cramped, but still cozy enough to keep the energy buzzing. The layout made it easy to mingle and just relax at a table. The atmosphere was spot-on too. Warm lighting, a lively vibe, and a setup that made the whole celebration feel really special. You can tell the space was designed with events in mind because everything just flowed smoothly. Overall, I was genuinely impressed and would happily recommend the Capri function room for any event. It made the party feel elevated and memorable.”

  “Tempura was nice although the waiter put the fingers on my plate to take the chilli sauce which previously indicated went ordered that I didn’t want, so not nice. Should used something else instead of fingers. The Rissoto was ok but still a bit more to Cook. I'm Spanish and I know very well the italian food how should be cooked. The staff was very nice. The place very clean. To sum up... I expected more for the price.”

  “We have eaten at Capri at the containers many time and always been impressed so we decided to try this restaurant for a change. We ate on a Sunday lunchtime while there is a Sunday roast option, we opened for the main menu. The food was nice, but not outstanding so we will be opting for the containers next time!”
