  “Group of 8 went waiting 25 minutes at the bar after we were due to sit at table. Food was good I ordered the lasagne a bit lacking in the bechamel but all in all very nice 7/10. Tried a few friends pizza which I thought were really good 8/10 base and crust was very good Tried the bolognese which I thought was a little too sweet The server got 2 orders wrong but corrected quickly Good value for money”

  “Went as a party of 10 for my grandmother’s birthday, and I cannot stress how amazing the service was; Oliver and Tony in particular! I ordered wrong due to not understanding the menu- complete mistake on my behalf- and I was immediately offered to swap for another item on the menu! The lads were amazing throughout us being there and were incredibly polite, kind and accommodating. The food was amazing- especially the garlic bread.”

  “We made a last minute decision to go here at the weekend, arriving just as the restaurant opened at 12pm. We were the only ones there to start with but staff were friendly, attentive & recommended dishes. We chose meals from the specials menu and was not disappointed as the food was absolutely amazing and large portions too. There was a really good value for money 2 & 3 course meal option also. Lovely meal out and will definitely return soon!”

  “I took my partner here for a birthday meal, I had spoken to a lady before about seating and she was very helpful and went above and beyond to help sp thank you! Unfortunately the service from the gentleman we had at our table was not very good and we both found him very rude towards my partner. He had us waiting for cutlery for 5 mins whilst we had our food and came across like we was bothering him. The other staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and lots of family's in enjoying there time together. The food was very nice I had a beef stroganoff and it was beautiful very filling and plenty, its a lovely place for all occasions but unfortunately the service was not like we expected.”

  “26 of us dined here today. The decor and seating were both very nice and welcoming. The man who welcomed us into the building was very polite and friendly. We had pre ordered our food choices so we sat and waited for our food. There was a slught delay in getting our food, but when it arrived, everybody's food was hot. Quite a task and worthy of the short wait. I had mussels in tomato and chilli sauce which was accompanied by two decent pieces of toasted rustic bread. These mopped up most of the sauce in the dish too. To my delight, there must have been more than 25 mussels in my serving. They were amazing. My wife had garlic pizza with cheese for her starter, so we had a bit of sharing going on. My main was house special pizza and my wife had chicken and mushroom tagliatelle. Again both really good. No room for a dessert. The serving staff were attentive and patient, as was the barman. Overall the whole experience was really enjoyable. All of our party remarked on the quality of the food too. Well done Capri.”

  “Could not fault any part of our experience with this restaurant. Unfortunately we were late to our reservation (we called to let them know) the woman so polite & understanding on the phone. On arrival we greeted by lovely staff and a really nice atmosphere. We ordered our food, which was more than reasonably priced, it was made in a timely manner despite the restaurant being very busy! The food was absolutely delicious! We then sat at the bar for a drink afterwards, and the atmosphere was amazing, staff were smiling, laughing with us and we thoroughly enjoyed our time! The manager in particular (unfortunately cannot remember his name) had a brilliant sense of humour and laughed with us the whole time. I genuinely cannot wait until we come back again, the team at the restaurant, the food and atmosphere was 10/10. Highly recommend.”

  “We had such an amazing experience here! The staff were incredibly accommodating and even let us come in early to set up for a birthday celebration, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was truly unmatched. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, making the whole evening feel special from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and even better hospitality!”

  “Went early but had a large party in got sat down straight away drinks ordered and waited to choose our food .once ordered our main came quick food was nice a little expensive. We tried to order another drink 🍸 but it was getting busier so had to wait ..mains finished and our plates taken away we was asked if we wanted a pudding and the menu came pretty quickly but after half hr of trying to get someone's attention to order we gave up and got the bill .the place is lovely and clean and looks popular but we won't be returning”

  “We had high hopes for our first time breakfast visit. Having seen recent reviews we were looking forward to a sumptuous meal nut unfortunately we were disappointed. When the English breakfast was served it looked fantastic with a large slice of thick ham but it was tasteless. The rest, apart from the fried egg, were also nothing special. My partner was not enamored with her pancakes, although she got exactly as described it would have been nice if some fruit was included. At least the coffee was good 👍”
