Customer Review Summary
The caveats are consistent. Reviewers say the place is busy and works like counter service, with no one to seat people, so diners hover by occupied tables. Two note that menu prices aren't written. One says there were no plates, making it hard to eat from the pans. One family felt the onion bhajis were mushy like supermarket ones, the chicken tikka wasn't chicken tikka, and the mango lassi was tiny, leaving the curry bland. They felt a takeaway would have been better value.

“First time visiting Abdul's in Wakefield, and I must say we were all really impressed. The food was absolutely spot on fresh, full of flavour, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The owner has a great personality, and that positive attitude clearly reflects in the business and its staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent service. We'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Abdul's to anyone looking for great food and a fantastic atmosphere. Free car park and disabled access provided.”

“Restaurant food at take-away prices! Lovely friendly staff and always busy, which always always a positive to me. You won't find anywhere else like this!”

“After watching Danny Vs Food on YouTube we decided to head over to Abdul’s from the northwest to see if his review was accurate. We were not disappointed! Really fresh, tasty, reasonably priced food and all served very efficiently. Highly recommend and was well worth the journey to savour it.”

“It feels like McDonalds, hang around for a table and then order at the till, same atmosphere. We paid £67 for a family of four, we could have had a far better takeaway for under £40. Onion bhajis were like the ones from a supermarket, mushy, not a ball of fried onions. Chicken tikka wasn't chicken tikka. Mango lassie was nice but tiny. I don't feel i've had a curry, very bland and dissapointing. I won't be back.”

“The food was nice. However on menu the prices aren’t written. Decent customer service. The mango lassi is nice and refreshing. The mix grill is full of flavour and the curry is also nice and they offer nice soft nans”
