About The Harvey
The Harvey is a pub in West Swindon, next to the Link Centre and Asda. A pub cat is on the premises, and plenty of TVs inside, plus two more on the patio, show live sport from Sky Sports and TNT Sports, so a match can be watched indoors or out. The kitchen serves pub classics, including burgers with a choice of toppings, and a lunchtime deal pairs a burger with a drink. Alongside the regular menu, a two-course lunch deal is set aside for seniors.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers draw the most praise at this Swindon pub, described as tasty and lean with a wide choice of toppings. A Wednesday lunchtime deal pairing a three-topping burger with a lager shandy is called a cracking deal. Close behind, reviewers describe large, well cooked portions at reasonable prices, and name the senior two-course lunch, apple crumble with custard, and battered fish with fries. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and quick to help, and the beer is described as cold with an impressive range. The atmosphere is called cozy and authentic, with plenty of TVs inside and on the patio for watching the match. The main drawbacks are noise, which a couple of reviewers say rises when football is showing, and one reviewer who found the side dishes and condiments overly sweet. A few note that tables fill up, and one suggests booking ahead for a big group. One visitor also mentions the pub cat, warning that it does not appreciate having its belly petted.

“MUCH better than our visit to the Windmill. My understanding is this is the same chain. All the staff here are nice and the food is all cooked. recommend this cute little pub to all”

“Great classic English pub with a wonderful atmosphere! It’s conveniently located right next to the Link Centre and Asda West Swindon. Inside, it has that classic, cozy, softly-lit feel that makes it really authentic. The staff are lovely and the bartender was very polite. The place is clean and well-kept. Plenty of TVs inside — plus two out on the patio — making it a fantastic spot to enjoy a cold pint while watching the match!”

“I popped in to quench my thirst today and was tempted by the Wednesday lunchtime deal. A fantastic burger with 3 toppings and a lager shandy for £6.50. Considering a shandy alone costs £4.80 and the burgers are normally £7 odd it was a cracking deal. I will definitely be back in again.”

“I cannot fault this cracking little pub. The atmosphere is great although some might find it a bit too noisy (I love it!). Family friendly and attracts a wide variety of folk. If I lived nearer, I’d be in here most nights. What I absolutely love about this place is the burgers!! You will never find me ordering a burger or going to the big name fast food places; not ever, but these burgers - I love them. They’re tasty, lean, come with a wicked choice of toppings and are exceptional value for money. It was my choice for my Mother’s Day treat. The service here is great too - lovely staff who are always happy to help.”
