  “Food was good, Good size bars with plenty of outside seating. What let it down..... the male toilets were disgusting, the smell was unbearable.... The "local" residents were so many in number (outside) that it felt uncomfortable. If as many people were knocked out as everyone claimed they were going to do, it would have been a blood bath. Stay inside for a good atmosphere unless you like drama on the high street.”

  “I went in with my assistance dog got a drink for me and bowl of water. Then had a manager come over telling me unless had a uk pass couldnt come in and was refused another drink. Wouldn't mind but we sat outside so was no where near people eating . Disgusting the way was treated. My dog had jacket and lead stating what he was with Canine Partner jacket and lead and lanyard. Disgusting how weather's poon treated me”

  “Great value for money no where cheaper. It has two floors, ideal for customers coming off the train at Swindon railway station, plus Swindon bus station. Lots of Swindon town football club supporters in their before the matches on a Saturday afternoon.”

  “Convenient for the cluster block around the corner: the Holiday Inn Express and ibis. Large inside with plenty of seating over two floors; on midweek evenings it’s always possible to find a table. Like most Spoons, there’s a wide choice of commodity beer and straightforward food at exceptionally good value. Service is functional and there are bars on both floors. I visit because it’s there and consistent. Not for atmosphere. I prefer not to stay. For me, it works as a meeting point more interesting than the hotel lobby, somewhere to plan where next. On a quiet midweek evening it does what it has to do, no more.”

  “Arrived to find table full of used glasses and dirty plates of food. Asked several times if the table could be cleared and none of the staff was interested. Had to clear it ourselves in the end and sit on a sticky dirty table.”

  “Actually very impressed with the food here, the chicken wings, chicken strips and pizza were absolutely spot on. The venue is large on a split level. Sport is also shown at this spoons. Large aray of beers at very reasonable prices which is to expected. Definitely worth a visit when passing by”

  “We visited The Sir Daniel Arms in May 2023. Very nice Wetherspoons in a unique and imposing building. Spread across two floors, quite well decorated with fireplaces upstairs and an industrial feel to it. Balconies upstairs and an outside seating area downstairs with two large bars, one on each floor.
