About College Farm
In Swindon, on Watchfield, College Farm is a pub where a children's play area gives young visitors their own space while adults stay at the table. The kitchen works in a pub grub style, with burgers, steak and a mini mix grill. The vegetarian side of the menu includes a sweetcorn and cheese burger and a bbq cauliflower kebab. Orders go in through a QR code on the table, so there is no need to queue at the bar. Sports are shown on the TV, and dogs are welcome inside. Drivers can charge their cars on site while they eat.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the pub grub, especially the generous veggie choice, with a sweetcorn and cheese burger and a bbq cauliflower kebab singled out, and a chicken burger and chicken platter also praised. Friendly, welcoming staff come up repeatedly, along with a roomy interior and a play area, and one diner notes the kitchen happily adjusted a starter. Food quality is where opinion splits. One reviewer's steak arrived not cooked properly on three attempts, and the mini mix grill still disappointed. Another called a burger inedible, citing fries soaked in stale oil and meat that looked reheated. A karaoke night had slips put out but nobody running it, with children racing around the pub. Another diner ordered by QR code at the table, then learned at the bar that the kitchen had closed when the food never came. That diner was given a refund but no explanation of what happened to the order.

“Good place to come if you’re staying local, sports on the telly, decent choice of drinks. My food order did go walkabout however, ordered at 8.30pm via the QR code on the table and went to the bar to enquire when it had still not arrived by 9.15pm to be told the kitchen was closed. Was given a refund in fairness but no explanation as to what happened to my order. Disappointing.”

“Waited 30 minutes for food. Ordered steak first time. Not cooked properly. Second time not cooked properly. Third time I think you can guess paid 53 qwid for the mini mix Grill barely got what we wanted 😞 just disappointing. Do not order the steak. They will steal your money”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at College Farm. From start to finish, everything was fantastic, and the whole experience was made even more special by the incredible service and warm welcome. Sophie was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her enthusiasm and care really stood out, and she made us feel incredibly welcome. College Farm is a truly lovely place, and Sophie is a real credit to the team. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough and would happily return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“We visit College Farm on a regular basis. I can honestly say it’s such a good friendly atmosphere. We are always made to feel welcome when we arrive. The food is good, the play area is good and of course the drinks are good. All in all a great experience every time.”

“Went to the pub because they said they did karaoke. By 20 past 8 some slips had been put out but no one was running it and the set up appeared to be a guitar amp plugged into a laptop. There were kids running around kicking balls and generally tearing around and a smoker blowing smoke inside the pub itself which as a pregnant person made the pub unsafe. Drinks were £4.20 for a coke or lemonade which is honestly atrocious given it was just a standard fountain/gun coke nothing special. Definitely shan't be frequenting it again and left because spending the night there was not something I'd want to do”
