About The Bakers Arms
The Bakers Arms is a British pub on Beechcroft Road in Swindon where Sunday lunch is the headline draw, served in generous portions with a vegetable selection alongside the roasts. The landlady runs the pub with her team, and the space spans both a traditional bar area and a more modern dining room, giving the front-of-house two distinct settings under one roof. Buffets for wakes and similar events are hosted on site, and dogs are welcome. The pub opens through the week as a neighbourhood local, and the kitchen leans British across the menu. It functions as a walk-in pub, with seating across the two connected rooms and a straightforward counter service at the bar.

“First time visiting this pub it didn’t look much from the outside but lovely once we walked in, Unfortunately we felt very unwelcome straight away I felt uncomfortable , we went outside but the garden furniture was wobbly old and needed updating we changed to another table and it was the same, cobwebs everywhere on the seats so we couldn’t relax out there either. When we came back in the staff member seemed a little bit better and the food that came out was good so we did go from never going again! To maybe we would. Sorry buts I wanted to be honest.”

“Went for Sunday lunch, haven't been here for a few years and used to go regularly. Nice to see that Kath is still there as the land lady. The food was great, well cooked and the portion was huge. Great value for money, we will be back.”
