  “Thoroughly enjoyed our time when we visited for the abba tribute act. Was so nice to see everyone enjoying and getting involved. We even got to stay for karaoke and it was hilariously fun. Drinks were following, and so much fun was had. please do more events like this!”

  “This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! The host was very friendly and attentive. He explained how best to order and gave our daughter his pen as there were no colours for her to do the kids menu paper. The website to complete our order was very straight forward and the staff were all very friendly when they came to delivering our food and clearing away. Lovely environment and well organised. Definitely a place to visit.”

  “beautiful building, the food was delicious and all the staff were so sweet- Sophie even gave me reccomenedstions to visit and the history of the pub, all food came out quickly and I enjoyed every bite- a must-go-to in Swansea!!”

  “Tried the new breakfast menu which was really good value. Very decent portion size. Cooked perfectly. Even without promo of 40% off, it would be well worth price. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Meal came within 10 mins of ordering. Would really recommend.”

  “Visited at lunchtime on a Sat, relaxed atmosphere, nice background music playing. Two nice meals and both had the Directors choice Ale. With the 40% voucher off mains a great deal. First visit here for many a year, will call again.”

  “Came here saturday for the arena with my mam for food and it came quickly. I ordered via the app and it easy, drinks arrived sharpish. Caitlin who delivered my drinks was very polite. When my food arrived it was hot and delish . I ordered a lighter spicy beef burger by mistake but was still amazing and my mam ordered fish and chips. With room for dessert i had the lemon wedge. And mam had the jaffa cake slice.. .went outside to enjoy the sun and there wad live musiic too. Shall be back again. All rpund great staff great atmosphere and great food”

  “Food was outstanding! Staff were great and nothing was too much trouble! A beautiful location and the beer was top notch! Cannot wait to return with my family.   “I recently visited the Pump House Pub in Swansea and had a really pleasant dining experience overall. The pub has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot for both casual meals and catching up with friends. One of the standout features is the lovely view of the waterfront/harbour area, which adds a really nice touch to the whole experience, especially if you’re seated near the windows. For food, I tried the jacket potato, BBQ cauliflower wings, and vegan nachos, along with a hot chocolate. The jacket potato was simple but well done—soft inside with fresh toppings and generous portion size. The BBQ cauliflower wings were definitely a highlight; they had a nice crispy coating with a smoky, slightly tangy BBQ flavour that worked really well. The vegan nachos were also enjoyable, loaded with toppings and a good mix of textures, making them quite filling and satisfying even as a shared dish. The hot chocolate was rich and comforting, perfect for a cold day and nicely presented. Service was another strong point. The staff were friendly, approachable, and attentive without being intrusive. Food arrived fairly quickly, which made the whole experience smooth and convenient. Overall, the Pump House Pub in Swansea offers good vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, solid portion sizes, and consistent quality. Combined with the nice views and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a great spot for a casual meal or drinks with friends. I would definitely return.”

  “Staff members there are so kind and patient and helpful, As visitors from China, all of us had a wonderful experience there. We booked on Thursday evening for the steak set menu, the price was unbeatable and the food was amazing. So we went there the next day for fish and chips. Really really good restaurant. Thank to the staff there we had a perfect time in Swansea. Hope to visit again soon!”

  “We booked a table for 5.30pm as a pre‑show dinner, with the reservation confirmed for 5.30–7.30pm. We arrived just before 5.30pm, ordered our food straight away, and were told there would be a 40‑minute wait, which we accepted as it still allowed plenty of time to get to our show. Unfortunately, the food didn’t arrive until almost 7pm - a wait of nearly an hour and a half, which is unacceptable, especially when time constraints had been clearly explained. To make matters worse, only one meal was hot. Three of us were served cold steaks, and one dish was incorrect. Because we were now so short on time, we didn’t have the opportunity to raise this properly with staff and had to rush our meal just to make the show. The only saving grace was that we were using a 40% discount voucher, but even with that reduction the food was not worth the price. What made the experience even more disappointing was that the restaurant didn’t appear particularly busy at the time. It’s a real shame, as the building itself is lovely and has so much potential, but the poor service and food quality completely overshadowed that. Sadly, we won’t be returning or recommending it.”
