About No Sign Bar
No Sign Bar is a pub at 56 Wind St in Swansea, with origins in the 17th century and an interior that has a museum feel. The venue is large, with lots of rooms, and log fires are used in winter. Live bands play in the Vault at weekends, which gives the building a music side after the daytime food service. The kitchen covers fish and chips, burgers and sirloin steak. At the bar, Guinness is on draught, and cocktails and wine are also on offer.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, describing a warm welcome and friendly service, and one popped in three days running. Food and drink draw praise too: a three course summer meal, homemade chips with burgers in massive portions, lovely cocktails, a good wine selection, and a Guinness whose portion size one reviewer says justifies the cost. Others mention the beer garden and a huge building with many rooms. The kitchen draws the recurring complaint. One diner reports sirloin steaks overcooked against the blue and medium rare ordered, with oily mushrooms and reheated chips, and no apology from the waiter or bar staff. Others describe cool or rock hard chips and fish that was mostly batter. A blind reviewer says the waitress did not offer to cut up food or tip chips onto the plate, though the cider and the lemon sponge with ice cream were good.

“What an amazing place to eat. Wandered in while looking for food and it didnt disappoint. Huge choice on the menu and very well chosen menu for the summer. We had 3 courses and enjoyed every single one as well as the cocktails. Food was cooked to perfection and staff were extremely welcoming and efficient. Will definitely be coming back here myself and would highly recommend to anyone else. Thank you No Sign Wine Bar.”

“Ended up in here after not being able to find seats anywhere else and I'm so glad we did! Absolutely gorgeous food, proper homemade chips, massive portions and 2 burgers for £20?! Bargain! Lovely cocktails, nice little beer garden that wasn't too crowded. Loos were nice and clean. Paige looked after us all night with great service and a fab sense of humour. Highly recommended!”
