  “We visited Willow at Mere Green for a celebratory lunch with friends, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. We had both a dairy allergy and a vegetarian in our party. The allergen menu appeared to be out of date, which caused a little confusion and a brief moment of panic while ordering. However, the staff were absolutely brilliant. Just as I was preparing to make a meal out of side dishes, our server stepped in, carefully talked me through the available options and made sure I had a proper meal. The lunch I chose was amazing. The food was gorgeous—full of flavour, beautifully presented and served at a lovely pace, so the whole lunch flowed effortlessly. There was also a great selection of drinks, and the spicy margarita was divine. Only one person in our party had dessert, but as a true connoisseur of sticky toffee pudding, his very high praise was praise indeed! Like many restaurants, Willow could still improve its dairy-free and vegan dessert choices. The only option was a chocolate tart, which seems to be the standard offering everywhere and can become a little repetitive and tiresome. That said, I would absolutely recommend Willow 100%, and I will definitely be returning. The atmosphere and beautiful surroundings have been given just as much attention as the food and customer service. Willow really is the complete package, which is increasingly rare to find.”

  “This is a lovely place for all types of events or vibes. It was a cozy and cute spot. We just had the tapas menu which was delightful and worth the money. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Would highly recommend!”

  “Came with a friend for breakfast on 12th May. Our server Sam was welcoming, attentive and polite. Quickly bought water to our table, and gave us time to settle in and chose our meal. The food was delicious. Request re cooking of poached egg with firm white and soft yolk was followed. Bacon was crispy as requested. Non alcoholic ‘mojito’ was lovely, as were our coffees. Our first visit to Willow, but definitely not our last!”

  “Such a lovely restaurant! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the lemon and oregano chicken skewers along with the triple chocolate brownie, and both were incredible. It was my first time visiting, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.”

  “Gina was our server and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Our friends were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, and there was a card waiting on our table, which was a lovely touch. I can't fault the food, service or price. We will definitely return!”

  “The food was lovely! Very flavoursome and delicious. Service was slow tho and took a while to get drinks and no one came to check on us to see if the food was okay or ask if we wanted more drinks. We had to get up to find a waiter for service. Luckily the quality of food made up for the poor service.”

  “Went out this evening for an early NYE meal and had a wonderful time at Willow. The service was excellent, food was delicious and atmosphere was great! Same again next year! Thank you. Happy new year! All the best for 2026!”

  “In general, its a good place. I have ordered rupm stake which came over with plenty of spicy chilly peppers, amazing fries and sous. Stake was ordered "pink" as they do not offer rare-well done range. Only pink or well done. Steak was 8/10. Really good but had few bits of fat which I had to cut of or take out of my mouth. My Mrs ordered chicken with pasta. Pasta was 5/10. Did t like it at all. Dry and tasteless. Chicken had nice colourful crust but was overcooked. Dry and juice less. The service is good in general, one pe son acts really nice and respectful, other behaves like she is working in back garden fast-food. One of the lads forgot we ordered beer. Service 6/10. They added roughly 8% tips on their own to the bill.”

  “Visited this branch of Willow for brunch following an enjoyable dinner at their Trentham House location. Went for their ‘Middle Eastern Vegan Brunch’ and was genuinely surprised by the depth of flavours and execution. Also ordered some soft poached eggs, cooked to perfection with a rich and runny yoke. Relaxing atmosphere and a clean, well-run place overall. Highly recommended”

  “Only popped in for a coffee and cake but will definitely return for a dinner. The restaurant was very busy and had a very nice atmosphere. I had a vegan cake so don’t be scared to visit this place if you are vegan. Also, my coffee was with coconut milk.”
