Customer Review Summary
Burgers draw the most praise, with one diner calling theirs very good and another saying the burgers look very good. A children's menu and games for kids also earn mentions. Cocktails come close behind, and one reviewer praised them even after a disappointing meal. Others single out the shakshuka, with eggs in a deeply spiced tomato sauce, the bubble tea with its strong flavours, the cakes, and a gluten free menu one reviewer calls among the best they have seen. Staff are described as friendly and attentive even when the place is full. The complaints centre on food quality. Brisket tacos arrived as mini nachos, the chicken flatbread and wrap held minimal chicken, a Mezze Bowl had only three falafels, and one diner described the fries as short, end of the bag pieces. A cookie dough milkshake was called undrinkable and extremely sugary, and the music was said to be too loud at 2pm with families present. That milkshake complaint was met with a polite apology from a member of staff.

“Pre-booked and pre-ordered food for a restricted timed work lunch in the week for 8 people. My Mezze Bowl meal was nice but only had 3 falafels, which I thought was rather tight (3.5 stars). Service was impeccable (5 stars) & would highly recommend.”

“Disappointed😔 I went there yesterday with a colleague, ordered two cookies dough milkshake. It was extremely sugary and absolutely undrinkable. Also, the music was very loud for 2pm. There were many families with small children which I don't think it's a good choice to take children to an environment with such a loud music and noise. I could hardly hear anything and looked around customers weren't seemed to be very happy and comfortable with it. It was rather sound like I was at a nightclub in Broad Street - Birmingham. I politely expressed my dissatisfaction about the milkshake to one of customer assistant and she was also very nice and politely apologised and we left. I hope the management would pay attention to these details. Apart from that, customer service very nice and polite as it should be. Clean floor, tables and toilet, very nice decoration. Plenty of nice and comfy seating area outside especially on sunny and hot days. Also 🐶 friendly place which is lovely.”

“Excellent food that seemed really fresh, which was a pleasant surprise. Good prices for what we received. The bubble tea was the best I'd tried anywhere, the flavours were amazing and strong. The flatbread was lovely and even though it didn't contain much chicken, there was a nice amount of salad which seemed freshly prepared. Nice. My only gripe is that the chips we were served were poor quality. It looks like we were served the dregs of the bottom of a bag and the majority of the fries were only about 1-2cm long. Strange, as I've never seen, or been served fries that short in my entire life. It also meant that they absorbed an awful lot of the oil they were cooked in, so they were quite disgusting. I don't think it was acceptable serving those fries and I do wonder if they have any quality control standards. I think perhaps not. The atmosphere was calm, despite it being fairly busy. There were a good mix of customers there, from young families to older women dining out together. The service was great, but a little slow. I think it was only because each drink was brought to our table separately as and when it it had been made. The bubble tea did take ages to arrive and at one point I did consider checking to see if they'd forgotten it. But, we'd definitely ordered it, so I didn't bother. The quality and taste of the food I'd give 5* and we'll definitely go again. It's just those end of the bag fries that should not have been served to us. A fabulous place and I can see why it's lasted for many years. We'll definitely go again. A must try for everyone.”

“My shakshuka arrived looking as though it had been assembled by somebody who actually cared — vivid, fragrant, and gloriously rich, with eggs collapsing lazily into a deeply spiced tomato sauce. Better still, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. The service, despite the place being properly busy, was warm, polished and impressively efficient without ever feeling hurried. The atmosphere had that rare, easy confidence: lively enough to feel alive, relaxed enough to settle in and enjoy yourself. I’d return without hesitation, and would happily recommend it. 👍”

“The menu has changed and we ordered brisket tacos and the chicken flatbread. The tacos were served as mini nachos. It was more appropriate to suggest the description should been nachos with four mini tachos. Quality was very poor. The chicken in the wrap was minimal. Having provided feedback at the time we were told it was a new menu. Please charge more to provide better, as the quality was substandard. Very disappointing…. on a positive the cocktails were great.”
