  “Great community pub. Nice landlord and partner, always obliging, Pub need a good refurbishment and food options for 7 day venue, Be great to have good selection of Snacks aswell as olives, cheese and pork pie board platters for early evening, Entertainment been good, In need of food to attract a wider community throughout the week day and evening, good outdoor beer garden. Be great summer with a Pizza and BBQ stations for them great sunny evenings.”

  “The man behind the bar is very rude and most of the guests are using Fowl language and then he asked a friend to leave because he smelt of cannabis when he's prescribed it. Awful experience and defiantly won't be drinking here ever again when it's our local”

  “A well kept and maintained traditional pub, with lots of authentic character and quirky additions. There’s also a service is great and the selection of cask beers is excellent, on top of stock beers. There’s also a pub holds a variety of community events throughout the week and it’s dog friendly.”

  “Lovely pub always full of locals, weekly entertainment, the new management are doing really well. Food is amazing has Friday night burger and chips, Wednesday morning breakfast club and Sunday lunches, be sure to book in advance for Sundays as normally sold out. But amazing food and service”

  “On a friend's recommendation our party of 4 booked a table for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely and plentiful, the staff are pleasant and friendly and helpful. Very pleasant atmosphere. Will certainly be coming back again. Highly recommend.”

  “Visited on a Sunday. Very welcoming atmosphere, the beer garden was very spacious. Various draughts on tap including blue moon and carling. Pub food also served throughout the day. Came on a day when local bands were playing. Very enjoyable day for friends and family alike.”

  “Had the best Sunday lunch for years today, at 2002 prices! Extremely well run and managed pub. Just little touches make all the difference. We're new to Staffordshire and the area and were made to feel very welcome. So pleased this will be my local. Great job Steve and your better half Tracy. Many thanks. Tim”
