  “Came here for our wedding anniversary with our two young children. Food was perfect for us and was served quickly. Staff were so kind and attentive, especially to the children. Special mention goes to Danny who couldn’t have been nicer. Will be back again soon!”

  “I had intended to take good pictures of my starter and main course before I began enjoying them but, as it looked so good, I had finished my calamari and had already started on my ribeye plate before I realised. The food just drew me in... So, apologies for the half eaten onion rings! They were huge, and tasty. The ribeye was so tender and juicy. Perfect. I also enjoyed a refreshing cool pint of Jeremy Clakson's Hawkstone Lagers. And all this while overlooking the Solent from just near Hythe Pier. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we will be adding The Seashells to our https://www.GivingBackChallenge.com so that you could also enjoy a meal for two for only £1.”

  “I really wanted to enjoy a fish and chips from the beautiful view of the restaurant but was a bit disappointed. The chips were french fries and the fish was so small for the price paid. They didn't have the beer I chose from the menu and ended up drinking something else not good. Overall disappointing experience.”

  “We stumbled across this place during a visit to the area. Up the stairs to an open bar area, with dining at the back. Views across the water and a smoking veranda. The staff are friendly and attentive. A small but well put together menu. The food was out promptly and was to a very reasonable standard. The beef burger could have done with a touch more seasoning, but we had no complaints. All round a nice experience. We would definitely come back.”

  “What a great find! Sadly, the actual entrance to Seashells Restaurant is incredibly shabby (needs a sweep, a good coat of paint and maybe a heavy planter?) - so much so that we nearly decided to give it a miss but having phoned to check that they could indeed do #glutenfree fish & chips - we went in. Fabulous location overlooking #waterfront & Hythe Pier with views right across to Southampton! Great #gf fish & chips, but also quite extensive menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. The owner really should do something about the entrance - it lets restaurant and their team down.”
