Customer Review Summary
Pepper soup draws the most attention, though reviewers split sharply: one diner enjoying a relaxed evening says it nailed the flavor, while another calls a large portion appalling, describing a fish head and tail left in it and calling the price robbery. Close behind, a diner who ordered grilled catfish with jollof rice found the rice bland and the catfish burnt and unseasoned, throwing the meal away. Others report an okro soup order arriving instead as a stale stew. Two reviews raise more serious concerns: one reports an Uber Eats snack with its expiry date wiped off and meat that seemed reheated repeatedly, and another says the egusi made their family sick, with a relative vomiting. Against this, several reviewers describe the food as sweet, freshly made, and affordable, praising the relaxed atmosphere and music. A recurring complaint involves suya portions, with one customer saying a server acknowledged shorting a second portion yet still expected payment for a fresh one.

“Large pepper soup purchased. Absolutely appalling. In fact I have no words to quantify how bad it was and to add insult to injury the fish head and tail end were in there. Who does that for public consumption?!! Daylight robbery @ £23. A visit to grandma is required in order to learn how to make pepper soup or simply remove it from the menu! Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again. Despicable !”

“The food I ordered is very sweet, freshly made not soured at all, I give them a 5/5 for being very affordable, and made a nicely cooked meal”

“I’m reviewing here cause some persons try to dent the African image cause of greed and sadly have no remorse. This restaurant is a ticking time bomb. How would you sell a snacks and have to remove/wipe of the expiry dates cause you know is now bad or no longer ok for consumption. And this goes equal to food purchased the meats seemed to have been in for weeks and gone through several reheating. This was ordered from Uber Eats.”
