  “Only ever use this chip shop as a backup option. My biggest gripe is that unlike every other chip shop I've ever been to, they don't have battered sausages ready to go. They'll "pop one in" for you of course, but then I have to wait for it. Why??!😬 You might forgive them if the service & food made up for it, but I can't remember ever being impressed. Pretty grumpy normally & average product.”

  “Just brought home small cod special and can’t quite believe my eyes. I think the fish has fallen out of the batter with the lack of fish that was in there! Complete waste of money, tried calling but no answer. Veryy disappointing”

  “Great Little Chip Shop, been using them for years, always fresh fish and served hot. Staff really Polite. Hopefully the WATER main installation will not effect them longterm.”

  “Ordered 2 fishcake butties & chip buttie. Got home to find 2 fishcakes. No bread cakes. After saying it a couple of times. The chips was old dry & was off colour. Definitely won't be going back. Not a clean place 😔 …”

  “I've been a customer here for a long time and always enjoyed the food ,tonight it was awful ,the fish was really dry ,obviously been out of the fryer for a while ,the chips looked as if they'd been warmed up and the service was shocking ,I asked the man behind the counter if he was alright on entering the shop ,no response ! curt doesn't cover it ,won't be going again !shame as up to today everything has been fresh and pleasant young man serving .”

  “Just been and bought 2 large chips (£3.00 per bag) to have with a home made chilli for tea, loads of chips but they were terrible! They were hard , really sharp crispy. Threw most away. Said before I wouldn’t go back but gave them benefit of the doubt. Not again! Where have all the decent fish and chip shops gone?”
