  “I ordered a donner kebab for collection after enjoying a few beers with friends. We agreed a collection for 15 minutes. I arrived in about 10 minutes to find the food already bagged and waiting. When I got home, literally 1 minute away, the food was stone cold and totally inedible. Everything was sticky and chewy. At least the salad was warm! I rang to complain and, after being cut off 3 times, was told, "What do you expect? It's only a kebab after you've been out drinking." Yes, I'd had 3 beers over 3 hours but I don't think that or the cost justifies extremely poor quality food. Be wary of dealing with café Marantos inexperience!..,”

  “I'm new to the area and wanted to find a new good local take away. Ordered food for take-out, spent around £40 hoping it would be good. Unfortunately, it was awful. The side salad looked old, pinkish in colour, and looked like they just washed it as it was full of water, the chips were old and dry, nan bread was very thin looked like a pancake, very crispy and not edible, and wedges basically black and and burnt. Unfortunately, not much of it was edible. Definitely would not recommend.”

  “Good luck with what you order. I ordered a pizza with 4 toppings but got 2. Their pizzas used to be so good aswell. Now they are so poor. Thin, dry and very limited on toppings. Thought I'd give them one more chance, after a previous poor order, but their pizzas are so poor I will not order from them again.”

  “Ordered food as wasn’t feeling my best and thought we would have a little treat. Food was delivered in good time, but was the wrong order. Driver apologised and said he would sort, taking the food and about 15 minutes later he returned with our order, which was cold, opened and missing items. Turns out he had gone back to the person delivered to and recovered the food to deliver to us… He said he would return with the missing items, but didn’t so I rang the restaurant. The owner/manager, passed my details to the delivery driver who range in an abusive manner telling me he had agreed with my wife that she didn’t need the food - I guess she didn’t need to eat right? The attitude of this place is awful, and C s as bud I’ve - it is not somewhere we will order from again - hopefully be able to sort with Just Eat…”
