Customer Review Summary

Coffee and cakes draw the most praise at this cafe, with reviewers repeatedly singling out the brownie ("the best brownie I've ever eaten," echoed by another calling a vegan version "the best brownie I've ever tasted") alongside strong flat whites and a caramel latte. Breakfast and lunch also earn consistent approval, from a bacon and sausage sandwich to club sandwiches with coleslaw and tortilla chips, and several describe the staff as friendly and welcoming, with one noting the cafe was spotless. A few call the atmosphere lovely and full of nostalgia, pointing to old photos on the wall. One reviewer's coffee was only "satisfactory" with no food tried, and a more serious complaint describes a long wait for two sandwiches, a burnt, "near inedible" sausage, and a portion size that didn't match what was ordered, leaving that reviewer saying they wouldn't return.

Our first time visiting as we are new to the area. Very polite and friendly staff. Cafe was spotless and food and drinks was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Very nice spot. I bought a sandwich to take away which was decent. I was asked if I'd like salad and expected that in the sandwich but it was inside to box to eat with a fork. Slightly strange in my opinion but not a bad sandwich.
