About The Horsefair Pub & Rooms
The Horsefair Pub & Rooms is a 16th-century pub in Romsey, found at 13 The Horsefair. The pub serves real ales, and the same building holds four simple guestrooms for overnight stays. A full English breakfast comes with the rooms, so guests can have a cooked meal before they head out. Dogs are welcome, which means visitors can bring a pet along whether they come for a pint or a room. Drinking and accommodation sit together under one roof, so a visit can be a drink, a night away, or both.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers are split. The homemade mac and cheese draws praise as delicious and huge for a lunch portion, and one stay is called lovely for the pub, room and hosts. The wine glasses get a nice-touch mention. Complaints center on a noisy space with music people had to talk over, uninterested bar staff, no food or cask beer under new management, and towel hooks still not installed in the room.

“I had high hopes and expected something different but unfortunately it wasn't to be. I went to the bar to order drinks and the staff seemed uninterested and spoke only to take the order and for me to pay, no smiles nothing friendly. I like the new space but it's very noisy, not helped by music playing which meant everybody had to talk over it, and it wasn't even good music. But others looked like they were having a good time so it might just have been me. House red and white wine was okay, larger good, loved the glasses for the wine a nice touch.”
