  “The food we had was lovely but portions size was small. The service we received was good when we got it but one person out front was not enough. We made a good choice before we ordered and decided not to bother with starters, we knew we was in for a long haul. Ended up being mains and out not bothering with desert either, yet somehow that was still 2-2.5 hours.”

  “Such a lovely ambient experience, when we first arrived we was early for lunch, and the lovely staff outback who cook and make the meals greeted us with big warm smiles and was genuinely happy to see us and said we we was welcome to sit anywhere just as the kind waitress came to seat us at the same time and offered us drinks and menus. The background music was relaxing and fitting for the atmosphere. As more people started to show they were greeted in the same way and seated, even as it got slightly busier the waitress was attentive to everyone! And I could see she even helped prep at the pass along side someone with plating and sauces along with multitasking many other things. The food arrived within a good respectable amount of time to wait for fresh food being prepared, time and care was taken on each dish right down to the plating! It all tasted fresh and delicious, and would return to try other dishes they offer which had a good variety to choose from and something for everyone! It would also be a nice place to choose for a special treat for a cozy birthday meal if you was considering somewhere nice to celebrate, which a table of ladies was there for that! A nice selection of drinks to choose from including cocktails and mocktails! Beers wines and champagnes. One small suggestion or kind request for the owners to consider if possible… maybe one choice of non alcoholic beer/ wine those are quickly becoming quite popular, I think it would be lovely for the person not drinking to still be able to join a drink with the people that may be are. (That is not a negative, just merely a little suggestion) Thank you for a lovely experience! We will be back very soon”

  “What exceptional food and customer service. A must if you appreciate good honest Italian cuisine. The staff are tremendously welcoming and the hospitality really makes you feel at home. I enjoyed the Carbonara and Caprese salad, just sublime. The coffee too was just delicious. I had 2x espressos and my wife had a cappuccino. I wish this restaurant and it's staff the very best. They are a gem of a restaurant in Gidea Park and I will be sure to recommend this place to friends and family. Luckily the owner was present and he's a wonderful host.”

  “Coming out for dinner, had the goat cheese starter that was really nice then we had some pasta for Main, which was lovely and the tiramisu to finish. Highly recommended.”

  “A great addition to Gidea Park’s restaurants. We visited with a group of four on a Friday evening and the restaurant was at capacity, so I’d recommend booking in advance! Plenty to choose from on the cocktail and wine list, and our very friendly waitress made some solid recommendations for starters. Our mains were also good - the salmon fillet in very generously portioned, and the calzones and pizzas were well-received. The only snag was one pizza on our table arriving over an hour after our other mains; as mentioned the restaurant was packed, and I think the kitchen was simply overwhelmed with pizza orders for ours to get misplaced. However, the restaurant were very apologetic and gave us a complimentary beer by way of apology. Overall, a good experience - nothing groundbreaking but solid, enjoyable fare in a down to earth setting.”

  “Lucky to get a table tonight at Gusto, food was 10/10! We really loved the Fish, the Steak and the Risotto. Dessert was delicious too. Service was warm and friendly, very attentive waitresses. Super helpful that there is local parking and it’s next to the train station. Already looking forward to our next booking!”

  “What I loved most was how friendly everyone was! It felt like hanging out with old friends - everyone from the servers to the owner had a smile on their face and made us feel like part of the family. Food didn’t disappoint either. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce were rich and flavourful. The tiramisu was hands-down one of the best I've ever had -light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness.”
