“Came to Richmond for a different scenery and was looking for a pub lunch and Came across the Old Ship, the menu was fantastic, lots of choices to go for. We went for the seafood platter and prawns, the fish was so fresh and well seasoned and battered 10 out of 10 and their portions was enough for 2 and some, left satisfied, the staff were all super friendly and made us all feel welcome. They also have a back yard too with TV and seats if you fancied a bit of fresh air. All in all the best place to visit for lunch and dinner.”

“This was our first time visiting Richmond, and came across this lovely old Pub/Restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the prices were more than reasonable. Is highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area again.”

“Lovely pub in the middle of Richmond. Staff were immediately warm and friendly, even put in my lunch order before the kitchen was officially open which was so kind. The fish & chips were top notch, with a nice side of mushy peas. I enjoyed the Young’s Original Ale. Overall, very impressed with the Old Ship! It’s no wonder things got pretty busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Would recommend!”

“Brilliant traditional pub. The atmosphere here is incredible the person serving was so helpful and friendly. They even have a real fire. The prices for drinks are good with a large selection to suit all. The food menu is large and in my opinion very reasonable prices. It's and old charm style with lots of wood and traditional fixtures and fittings. This all goes to creat a warm friendly relaxed atmosphere. To the best if my knowledge there was a step rato the disabled toilets. So if you fancy a coffee or wine even a traditional beer then you will not be disappointed.”
