  “Excellent cafe! I had the full English Breakfast that was beautifully cooked using top quality ingredients and well worth the price. Highly recommend. My granddaughter had the American Pancakes, and she absolutely loved them! Excellent friendly service from all the staff.”

  “Had a really lovely time here. Absolutely loved the coffee. We then got pancakes and veggie breakfast which were so delicious! Staff were also lovely. Best food I’ve had in Redcar and would definitely recommend to anyone”

  “Absolutely blown away! Found online with high ratings; even better than we expected! I had the French toast which was gorgeous & my partner had chorizo, potatoes, egg & toast (can’t remember the name of the meal) and the flavours were gorgeous, really fresh and quality produce. Staff member serving us was Heidi and she was so polite & friendly. Believe we met the owner on the way out and he was lovely & chatty asking us if everything had been okay etc😊 Plenty of seating including upstairs & downstairs tables, lovely atmosphere & decor. Will definitely return!”

  “Served outside in the beautiful sunshine by Bledi who was wonderful to talk to and explained how they make their garlic mushrooms, which were delicious, it's so rare to find a restaurant that doesn't overcook garlic. Everything was cooked to perfection, coffee was excellent, this is not your run of the mill average breakfast, it's high quality ingredients, think thick cut bacon, premium sausage, sourdough toast, cherry tomatoes and perfectly cooked eggs.”

  “What an absolute gem of a place, we'd been meaning to try out One up for a while and today finally popped in for some breakfast, we sat outside in the sweet courtyard overlooking the beach which was wonderful. We were greeted by the lovely Bledi who was a joy to chat with, super friendly and welcoming, a real credit to the establishment. The food..next level, genuinely the best breakfast I have ever experienced, generous portions, fairly priced, all made from scratch and absolutely delicious. We went for the full English and the Halloumi and Mushrooms, both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal, amazing coffees too! Do not hesitate, get yourself in there and try it out, I'm positive you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend and we will be back. 👌🏽”

  “Walking in the area and looking for somewhere to stop for food. This place has good reviews and they were correct! We had dogs with us so had to sit outside, but luckily the weather was nice so this wasn't an issue. I ordered the beef burger which was really good. 2 thin patties cooked perfectly. Lovely cooked onions and cheese, and the bun was really really good. The star was the chips! Some of best I've ever had. Big and thick, crispy on the outside and super fluffy and soft inside. My wife had the pancakes with Nutella and fresh fruit. And they were really good pancakes. Also had a latte which was very good. Overall a lovely meal with good service and I would highly recommend this place (if only for the amazing chips!)”

  “First time and not the last. Really impressed with the food and the service. Arrived at 10.30 on a Saturday and got the last table. We chose from the breakfast menu, eggs benedict, potato and chorizo hash and pancakes with Nutella and strawberries. All three dishes were superb.”
