  “I've visited Seabreeze several times, and it never disappoints. The fish is some of the best in the area—always fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The service is always quick and efficient, even when it's busy, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently excellent. I would highly recommend Seabreeze Fish and Chip Shop to anyone looking for great fish and chips.”

  “Amazing shop with brilliant staff and equally brilliant quality of food. They even have a vegetable oil options so it's perfect for Muslims. It's actually fried in a separate fryer and it's fresh using separate utensils. Someone clearly has done their homework and I'll definitely be using this shop again and will recommend it to my fellow colleagues who happen to be working in the area.”

  “Horribly expensive and not the best fish and chips by a long way. We waited 40 mins tonight for our tea and I've put most of it in the bin when we got home. Tail end fish and over cooked and to make it worse the chip were rank with black bits allover them. It used to be a good little chippy but obviously they have cut costs which has effected the quality. We will be using church Street chippy from now on which is a bit longer drive but far superior food. I can't believe something like fish and chips can go so wrong 🙆”

  “I bought sausage,LG chips and a fish pattie,normally the meals here are lovely and I have never had a problem until now 18 / 3 / 26 sat,my fish pattie was all dry battery,and a slice of dry potato ,and as for the fish in it there ,wasnt any,it was a totally inedible,I was going to complain at the time but the queue was out of the door. Don't let this put you off going here, the staff are lovely and friendly,and the food is normally spot on,,,,,,just don't buy the fish patties as they are substandard .”

  The Chippy Tour

  “My first visit to Redcar led me to a renowned traditional chippy, known for having queues frequently out of the door. Naturally, I had to try it, and I was pleased to find myself in the queue outside, as the food was well worth the wait. In truth, I didn’t wait long, as the numerous staff members worked together like a well-oiled machine. Our server, Graham, greeted us with a great smile, one I felt he may have been born with. All of the staff were friendly. The shop was clean and tidy, and the food was excellent, as one would expect from an award-winning chippy. The large cod was generously sized, cooked in beef dripping with a crispy light batter and a thick fresh fillet. The chips were tasty and just as you would hope for at a seaside chippy. I also tried a deep-fried banana blossom, though it wasn’t to my taste, but I can see it being a great option for vegans and vegetarians, and I was even asked if I would like it cooked in oil. The majority of customers who were coming and going seemed to be local, which is always a good sign.   “Travelled from West Yorkshire to the coast with the intention of getting fish & chips and admiring the seaward views. We chose Seabreeze due to their website proclaiming award winning food. From the first mouthful these awards become apparent and are definitely well deserved. The flavours are great and the service staff are all very pleasant. Highly recommended spot to grab fish & chips, you won’t be disappointed.”

  “Been eating here for a few years now as they do the best gluten free fish and chips in the area. Carol normally serves me and she's always so thorough, and the staff who answer the phones to book in your order are attentive and always ask about allergies. The place is clean and bright, often busy (but thats a good sign of quality and they tend to have plenty of staff on) It's advised to call ahead because of how busy they are, but you still have to queue when you get there as they don't have an express line. All in all it's a great experience with great staff and wonderful food.”

  “Takeaway Fish & Chip Shop with vegan options. Travelled specifically to get a vegan fish (Banana Blossom) and chips, the food was cooked to order in the vegetable oil as they also have dripping fryers. Waiting time was 20minutes, it was a busy time. Large portions and very tasty. Great to have a chip shop with vegan options. Recommend for vegans who fancy a chippy dinner.”
