  “Small and understated from the outside, Koha sits on Station Road in Redcar and immediately surprises you once you step inside. The interior spans three floors, with modern decor that feels genuinely high-quality, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Drinks are typical restaurant prices. The arancini starter was a real highlight and well worth ordering. I went for the burger, which looked great on the plate, though it leaned more towards the traditional style than the smashed style I was expecting. The flat iron steak was tasty and came in a generous portion, with chips, onion rings, and mushrooms. We both left well and truly full. We’ll be back.”

  “This is a new restaurant in Redcar, the decor and food was amazing but the service levels left a lot to be desired, although the waitress was lovely and friendly she had little knowledge of the menu, we didn’t get our last drinks and one of the senior members of staff said it was because they weren’t expecting to be busy on a Monday ( even though it’s the Christmas holidays) and that it’s harder working a 3 storey restaurant as opposed to a normal one. That said it’s only been open a few weeks and the service didn’t overshadow the excellent food offering, I think it’s a fabulous addition to Redcar.”
