Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers praise the food as excellent and tasty, with generous portions. One house special fried rice was big enough for two adults to share, and the crispy chicken and beef with green pepper in black sauce also get mentioned. Another reviewer recommends the beef chow mein and rates a delivery order as on time. Staff are described as friendly, helpful and hardworking even at a busy time, and one waiter is singled out for a brilliant, funny personality. Diners also mention fair prices and good value for a birthday meal. The criticism is narrower but specific. One reviewer found the sauces bland, the sweet and sour batter floury, the seaweed far too salty and the meat dry. Another was put off because the all you can eat deal limits each guest to one duck. A family on a first Chinese meal had the waitress suggest dishes for the kids and halve the portions.

“Went there for our friends birthday, food was excellent, service was excellent and value for money. The Dragon Inn is a hidden gem and I would definitely go back. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family 100%.”

“The food was bland, all of the sauces didn’t taste nice. Batter on the sweet and sour was floury, seaweed was not edible far too salty, ruined the rest of the food. The Meat was dry. Quite honestly the worst Chinese I have had in a long time.”

“Visited yesterday evening (09/04/26) for the last night of our holiday, my wife's first visit to an authentic Chinese restaurant and our kids first Chinese, ever. They came away saying it was the "best restaurant ever"! Food was absolutely delicious, the staff were very friendly and great with the kids. As we weren't too sure what to order for the kids, as it was their first Chinese, the waitress was very helpful with what to order and even halved the portions so as not to have too much. Great service, lovely food, would highly recommend. 💯”
