  “Was curious about this takeaway after it was taken over by new management with mixed reviews. I have to say u should only trust the positive reviews!! The service was prompt and there's a wide variety of Thai, Malaysian, Chinese and other East Asian cuisine. I love the range of dishes and have been able to try new foods every time I order. I especially recommend the salt and chilli dishes and the pad thai which i thought was absolutely delicious. Hope to see the business flourish here in the future!!”

  “The business has been taken over recently by new magement after the Tang family left after 30 years, and I wanted to give the new owners a chance. But unfortunately the food is just not the same. The special fried pork balls were very chewy and the food lacked flavour. The special fried rice especially, which was made from white rice and missed the pork bits. Too many dishes on the menu too.”

  “Recommended this place whilst visiting Margate for the weekend, we ordered a takeaway for 12 people and we’re not disappointed whatsoever, the ordering process was delightful and the food was delicious. Would recommend Lotus Garden.”

  “First time using this Chinese and my partner and I were very pleased with our meals . My partner had quarter of a duck and pancakes and we both had special fried rice and chow mein. Chicken curry and a vegetable spring roll. Delicious. Will be using again for sure.”

  “Have been coming to this Chinese since I was a child and for good reason. Food is absolutely lovely and genuinely the best tasting Chinese food in Thanet. Very well priced as well!”

  “Had sweet and Sour chicken with egg fried rice tonight. Absolutely disgusting, rice was greasy, no sauce to speak of and chicken was tough. Never, ever again! We have used this takeaway before lockdown. It was very tasty, obviously they have changed the chef.”
