  “Overall we really enjoy coming to Spoon in Portsmouth. The selection of food ranges from Chinese, Indian, Pizza, Kebab, Tepanyaki, Sushi, Roast, Pasta, Desserts, Crepes. Now I have to be honest, they could be quicker with refilling the food. Quite a lot of the dishes have run out or are down to the bare minimum before it’s replaced and some dishes can be a little cold. I haven’t experienced any food poisoning or bad tummies though. The plates and cutlery could be replenished quicker too, but staff are generally quite helpful if you mention it. The restaurant is mostly clean - I say mostly as it’s a buffet style restaurant and there’s a lot of food that gets dropped on the floor by customers. I personally believe the staff do quite well with trying to keep it tidy. My advice would be to go a bit later in the evening if you can (around 7/8pm) as it’s a lot quieter and easier to navigate. I would also recommend keeping a hold of your knife and fork between helpings just to avoid sitting down with a new plate and having to get straight back up because you forgot to pick up new cutlery!”

  “Food is absolutely disgusting. Ate one meal as I didn't like any of the other things on offer. Food was under cooked. Staff were talking amongst themselves in other languages. Buns were raw, macaroni cheese with no cheese, Steak was a slither of ham.”

  “Great food and atmosphere, really fresh ingredients. Staff were just as great, friendly and very helpful. Parking is available either in front of the restaurant or in the multi storey. Kids under 1.5m and under a certain age eat at half price. Definitely would recommend it and will be returning as well.”
