  “Best restaurant ive ever been to. I am not exaggerating, i have never had such delicious food anywhere else. Massive compliments to the chefs, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would 10000% recommend to everyone. Best place to eat.”

  “My first experience of Natty Jerk was end of May. I have been twice since it's that good. Hankering for belly pork one rare child free Sunday. All new to me I decided to ask member of staff for guidance. Best idea. Belly pork on chips in a spicy flavoursome delight and fresh patty pasty . My wife had chicken I had the beef. Oh my fantastic and washed it down with their take on a long island which didn't dissapoint. My wife had Pina colada. £70. Very reasonable. 2nd visit with a friend on a busy night out out with a friend he had Belly pork I opted for goat curry this time again I asked member if staff super personable and gave fantastic advice. My friend loved it too lost for word's. Third time was last Sunday for Father's day treat. Went with wife and daughter. Decided on goat curry again tried dumplings they were nice but needs to be partnered with a saucy dish. They offer children's menu non spicy. Even better was children eat free with an adult paying over £15. Truly wonderful experience and vibe a treasure.”

  “Just had my first meal from Natty’s Jerk and honestly… it was that good I’m probably going to eat there all week I had the jerk chicken and the oxtail, and both were absolutely incredible. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky flavour with just the right amount of spice, and the oxtail was rich, tender, and full of flavour. You can tell the food is cooked properly with real care and passion. The portion sizes are really generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth, and the prices are great value for the quality and amount of food you get. What also stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff were welcoming from the moment I walked in and happy to help with recommendations. If you’re in Portsmouth and love proper Caribbean food, this place is an absolute must try. Highly recommended!”

  “The food was incredible, full of flavour and well portioned. The service was quick and very friendly, always putting customers needs first. The music was good and at the perfect volume allowing for normal conversations. Very reasonable priced as-well.”

  “Absolutely perfect, we’ve been meaning to come here for years and we’re so glad we finally did. We ordered the curry goat, jerk chicken, the mac and cheese and a brownie for dessert (basically everything we ordered was gluten free and we had no idea) I also recommend the pink ting to drink, it changed me Yet I saw my boyfriend transcend to heaven, putting his head in his hands as if he’d tasted food for the first time, in his words “I’m not a religious man but I just went to heaven” We had a great time, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really attentive and sweet”

  “The service was good very helpful Food was nice but not unique very disappointing from everything I have heard I expected better things. Atmosphere was very upbeat vibey music nice decor and nice heating was just a bit too high for me so nothing to complain there. I would recommend coming here if you have not had Jamaican food before but if you have it will lead to disappointment as it was just nothing special could be found anywhere really and quite pricey.”

  “First time visiting Natty’s after hearing so many good things. It certainly did not disappoint! Generous portions of extremely tasty food (we had the jerk chicken box meal, a sausage to share and a trio of sauces), everything tasting fresh and cooked to perfection. The jerk chicken dipped into mango chilli lime sauce is to die for! And… the rum and raised ice cream… out of this world. Super attentive staff and quick service. Wet cold day but the fires inside kept everything warm. A must visit if you’re in the area!”
