Customer Review Summary
Chicken shawarma is the dish reviewers return to most, served as a plate with salad, rice and chips or as a wrap, and one reviewer calls the shawarma platter the best item they have tried. Close behind are the lamb dishes, including a lamb doner, crispy lamb kofta and red lamb kuzi, along with chicken wings, mix grill, okra, dolma and sea bass. Several mention the free lentil soup served to diners, and one suggests adding sumac from the table. Portions are repeatedly called generous, prices reasonable, and the staff friendly, with families and kids enjoying the food. The one recurring complaint is minor: a reviewer found the fish kebab a bit too salty, and another arrived to find the lamb doner sold out, though the staff steered them to a chicken doner they called incredible. One diner who over-ordered left a lot of food on the table, and warm, fluffy bread is praised for eating in.

“I went here for the first time last night. Unusually for me, I had a kebab the night before on the Albert Road. The Kurdistan Resturant was a different experience. There was a lovely lentil soup provided when you sat down, on the house, and a lovely salad and bread. A great menu. I had a lamb shawarma in bread. Was delicious and I was shocked at how reasonable it was. Will definitely be back.”

“Best review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavour, and the portions were incredibly generous. We tried the okra, kebab, dolma and sea bass, and everything was excellent. What impressed us most was the quality and taste of the food, as well as the fantastic portion sizes. Even our kids enjoyed the food so much, which made the experience even more special for our family. A truly wonderful place with delicious food and generous portions. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Kurdish food! ❤️”

“I recently visited this place again, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. I originally came hoping to have their lamb doner because I had tried it on my previous visit, and it was honestly one of the best l've ever had. Unfortunately, it was sold out this time, so the staff recommended the chicken doner instead. What a recommendation! The chicken doner was absolutely incredible. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every ingredient tasted fresh, especially the salad, and the overall quality of the food was outstanding. I can really tell they don't compromise on quality. The presentation and plating were excellent, and everything was served with great attention to detail. The restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was friendly and professional throughout. Taste-wise, this is easily one of the best kebab places I've been to. Whether it's the quality of the ingredients, the flavors, the presentation, or the service, everything was top-notch. Even though I missed out on the lamb doner this time, the chicken doner completely won me over. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be coming back again-especially for that lamb doner next time!”
