  “Very good fixed price lunch at the bakers arms last week Nice decor inside and plenty of seating out, although a bit of road noise. A very good menu with good selection on the fixed price £22.95 for 2 courses or £24.95 for 3 courses. We both had the prawn cocktail starter (with lots of large prawns) I had the lasagne (very tasty) and my husband had the fish pie. For the mini pudding I had the banoffee cheesecake and my husband the apple and blackberry crumble. Good parking as well as an electric car charging bay. We'll definitely return!”

  “Haven't been to the Bakers arms for some years after a bad experience, so decided to give it another try. Absolutely spot on. Very friendly welcome, signature burger was very tasty and plentiful, the apple and blackberry crumble was amazing 😍 Well done to the chef and their team.”

  “First the good Lovely atmosphere - great looking inside - staff were lovely - crispy chicken starter was good Cocktails (tropical something) was lovely and beers tasted fresh. Now not so good Others have mentioned - the fishfinger sarnie needs work, fish not tasty, in a baguette :) sorry bread works better, tartare sauce was lacks punch - see grasshopper Poole for how it’s done Pizza looked looked anaemic - sorry - needs more tomato sauce and extra couple of minutes in oven Food was reasonably priced though. Don’t let this out you off - We will be back for roast - This place deserves another chance”

  “A beautiful venue with food to match. This was a very pleasant find when looking for a place to eat that also allowed us to bring our dog. It felt like walking into a tardis, so many different areas all beautifully presented. A large number of tables available but felt quite intimate due to the layout of the 'rooms'. The food was equally varied and very good. Portion sizes were generous throughout the meal. Staff were also super helpful and attentive. A great find and definitely will be returning when in the area.”

  “Couldn't fault this place. Finally a pub that's doing it right! Booked at last minute. Waitress was nice and attentive. Great options for the kids. Roast dinners were exceptional. Best roast I have had for years! Top notch guys.”

  “My husband and I haven't been to the Bakers Arm for a while and certainly not since the new owners took it over. We are so glad we went as the food was amazing and the staff super efficient and lovely 😍 We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back again as there's lots on the very varied menu we want to try!”

  “Visited twice while on holiday in the Poole area and honestly that probably says everything. First visit I had the slow cooked beef shin which was just amazing comfort food. Second visit was the katsu chicken rice bowl followed by the apple and blackberry crumble, and both were excellent. As a coeliac I’m always cautious eating out, but The Bakers Arms made the experience feel relaxed and easy. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and food that actually felt worth getting excited about. Would happily return next time we’re down that way.”

  “I would like to take the time to thank the Bakers Arms team. From the very beginning of booking the day until the service on the day itself, we were consistently served with high-quality service. Their service is top-notch—truly exceeding our expectations. We were well supported with recommendations on the ordering flow, menus, room layout, decorations, and more, which made everything very hassle-free. We also very much appreciate the small touches. They took the time to print menus with our names on them, roll and tie them beautifully, and even gave us a congratulations card. The room was decorated so nicely as well. The food is AMAZING—both flavour and presentation! We 100% highly recommend the Bakers Arms for events or social gatherings, as they really take care of everything, provide great ideas, and make the whole experience stress-free.   “Very good service from Tom. He made sure I got all my app deals. Food was excellent. My husband had a very tasty pie and I had a kebab with excellent wrap and salad. When my husband’s choice of mini pudding wasn’t available, Tom bought my husband a small portion of the tiramisu special. We thought this was excellent service.”

  “Very lovely Sunday roast, staff were great and food came out promptly - ordered 3x turkey roast and 1x lamb roast, veg came in a separate help your self bowl which was a great portion size! We will definitely be back soon, highly recommend booking in advance as well as it books up quickly on Sundays!”
