Customer Review Summary
Diners most often point to the grilled mains, with the mixed grill described as tender and richly flavoured and The Dirty One burger as excellent and very well cooked. Others call the food tasty and filling, and a first-time visitor found it good value when using the available offers. The salad bar gets mixed reactions, with a couple noting it was poorly stocked or minimal. Service is the sharpest divide. Some find staff friendly and helpful, while others describe long waits. One couple was told to expect a long wait for a table despite many empty ones, and a request for a quiet table ended beside a loud children's football team. Food complaints include a tough steak and a dry, overcooked Southern BBQ Crunch with none of its advertised sauce, after which the manager comped a meal. The most detailed complaint involves a dessert ordered through the app that sat unfulfilled while staff gave contradictory explanations and no apology, though the desserts were refunded in cash without being asked.

“First time at a Harvester and pleasantly surprised, the food was very good and good value for money if you use the offers that are available”

“Poor food. Not the best steak very tough to cut even though mine was rare. No air con apparently its been condemed which means legonella but the filters are still open into public space with diners eating under the dirty filters! Hmmmmm! Hence i feel so ill today after being there last night. We bought a groupon and were charged 5 pound each extra as a surcharge for steak then drinks on top rounded it off for over 60 quid for 2. No mustard for your steak and salad bar was minimalistic looked like icelands mix bag in a bowl brown round edges. Lots of people eating burgers! May as well go burgerking. Menus want hiked prices for meat like steak or ribs but chicken plentiful. May as well go weatherspoons as at least even they have mustard and aircon!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID”

“1 star , If I could give zero, I would. I’ve just had one of the most shambolic dining experiences imaginable at Harvester Wilford, and it deserves to be documented in full. We ordered desserts through the app at 15:56, and we were still waiting 50 minutes afterwards with no communication, no update, nothing. When we finally chased it, staff gave us contradictory excuses: one claimed the order never existed, another said the kitchen “doesn’t know” unless someone physically tells them. Why on earth does an app order require a customer to announce it manually? And why is this not stated anywhere? It’s an absurd system failure dressed up as customer error. What made it worse, and frankly pushed this from incompetence into outright disrespect, was the total absence of an apology. Not from the duty manager, not from any staff member. Just blank faces and shrugged shoulders, as if this level of service is perfectly normal. The process is broken. The communication is non‑existent. The customer service is apathetic at best and dismissive at worst. Yes, the desserts were refunded in cash without us asking, but even then, not a single apology. Not even a token “sorry for the wait.” Nothing. If this is the standard Harvester Wilford considers acceptable, then it’s no wonder the place is sliding downhill. The entire operation needs a serious review. The duty manager should spend less time "peacocking" behind the bar and learn how to manage the restaurant and take a customer service course. Oh, and I've uploaded photos of the tables that they just left uncleared too”

“Absolute joke, dirty bar area, delays, rubbish staff, expensive for terrible food. Do not come if you expect a fairly priced, tasty meal! Trust me…this cost £18.39 🙏🏻”

“I had the pleasure of dining at Harvester Wilford Farm in Nottingham, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every respect. From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated a high standard of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality, which immediately set a welcoming tone. The service throughout was consistently excellent prompt, courteous, and well coordinated reflecting a well managed team that clearly values customer satisfaction. I opted for the mixed grill, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Each element on the plate was prepared with precision: the meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and richly flavoured, complemented by well-balanced sides that enhanced the overall dining experience. What stood out most was the consistency in quality, both in terms of food and service. It is evident that attention to detail is a priority here. Overall, Harvester Wilford Farm offers a refined yet comfortable dining atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking both quality cuisine and excellent service. I would confidently recommend it and look forward to visiting again.”
