Reviewers most often mention salt and pepper chips, chicken sweetcorn soup, noodles and beef dish.
Customer Review Summary
Praise centers on the salt and pepper chips and the chicken sweetcorn soup, described as fresh, well seasoned and piping hot, while another reviewer calls the food tasty and hot and singles out a polite delivery driver. Opinions on the cooking are split, though. Some call the food decent or really nice, but others find it bland, with dry, tasteless noodles that seemed reheated from the fridge, beef that seemed like it had been cooked for a week, and too many onions in many dishes. The dominant complaint is delivery. Reviewers repeatedly describe very slow orders, delivery times they say are misstated, and a sense that the kitchen needs more staff. Several orders that never arrived or were not ready at collection led to vows not to order again. One reviewer who had to cancel a collection after a family bereavement says the response on the phone was shouted and unsympathetic. Another was told to come and collect an order as ready, then arrived to find it far from ready while phones kept ringing about waiting times.

“I ordered salt and pepper chips and chicken sweetcorn soup, the chips were fresh, seasoned well and piping hot , the soup was fresh aswell ! And for the price definitely worth it.”

“The food was OK, but only OK, it was bland, didn’t really have any taste and beef seemed like it had been cooked for week! We had to wait 1hr30 just to get the food so delivery is very very slow. The ratings on JustEat are weirdly 5 stars, where on here they’re 3.5.”

“The food was decent but what wasn’t was the long waiting time. We waited two hours for our food and got told to come pick up instead as it was ready, when we arrived to pick up we found out it was far from ready. While we were waiting they had many phone calls about waiting time. Overall terrible experience. Do not come here!”

“Discusting!... i ordered for delivery and they knocked on my door, left my food on the floor and was half way to the car before I could get to my door! The food hygiene rating has only 3 out of 5 stars too. If I knew od find my food on the floor I'd never of ordered from this place!”
