  “Always a favourite! So many options nearby but Evergreen always impresses. It's never greasy or too gloopy like some Chinese takeaways can be, just good fresh food. Sweet and sour chicken balls are amazing.”

  “I were overall really impressed food came piping hot and tasted amazing,,follwed my instructions whicj were xtra spicy and no seafood .Lovely polite man delivered and was on time Thank you”

  “Food is always hot and flavourful, as well as very good value with good portions for the money. Service is great, especially when Patrick is at the till. Everyone I've brought to my house from different cities/towns have all said my this is better than their local. Absolutely come here.”

  “Unfortunately this was the worst Chinese we have ever had. The nicest thing about it were the fortune cookies. At least they were warm! Which is more than can be said for the chips. We ordered at the start of the evening and it felt like the chips were the leftovers from the night before that had been reheated until tepid. They were terrible and inedible. The duck in plum sauce was also bad. There was a very small amount of clear liquid at the bottom of the container so the duck was dry with no sauce to speak of. It certainly didn't taste of plum sauce. We also had a Szechuan dish. Again, the sauce was tasteless and clear and it contained more soggy cabbage (I think that's what it was) than meat. I'm not sure how you can get Chinese so wrong!”

  “Spare ribs. The hallmark of a top tier Chinese takeaway is the quality of the spare ribs and these guys seem to roast them fresh each night. They are truly bloody exquisitely tender and juicy. They have been consistently perfect for the past 3 years that we've been ordering from them. Vast majority of Chinese takeaways batch cook then and reheat them and the result is dry and tough. Everything is delicious here and portions/price is fantastic value. Bless these guys.”

  “We’ve always loved ordering from evergreen, food tastes great and they’ll deliver to the back gate of Chetwynd Barracks for us. Only lost a star because they’ve recently halved the size of the sweet and sour chicken balls so they’re no longer value for money, and you only get 9 which doesn’t divide well between 2 children and 2 adults! Hopefully it’s a one off and they’ll be back to normal size next time!”

  “Everyone raved about those place have ordered takeaway and not impressed. Chicken soggy, bland rice (ment to be egg fried rice) salt and pepper chips under cooked no flavour only good thing was the prawn toast and curry sauce. Will not be ordering again or recommending”

  “Best Chinese I've ever used, crispy shredded beef is amazing,chicken balls to die for, the list is endless, fastest delivery by far and polite staff and drivers. Definitely worth a try, you will not be disappointed.”
