  “I been going to golden ocean for a good few months it’s is now the only Chinese I like I am a fussy eater and they can cook your food without mushrooms if you ask which I feel is a very good thing. There chicken balls are the best I’ve tried there noodles comes in big portions all the food is so flavoursome The staff are so sweet and kind over the phone the delivery times is the fastest I’ve ever had they come within 20-30 mins and this year they gave me a full tin of celebrations for a Christmas present I think that is actually so sweet and thoughtful i will definitely be going golden ocean for the rest of my life and I’m only 23 so I’m glad I find my forever Chinese I also forgot they have the best bbq sauce”

  “Food is lovely always hot. Order the chicken curry and chips. Nice taste and plenty of it. Would be my go to choice wish they were open more days”

  “Food disappointingly poor. Meat was rubbery and rice was stuck to the soggily floppy card container and in clumps too, more obviously reheated than most takeaways. Generally a little cheaper and a friendly counter lady, but the reception area is sparse and unfurnished, and overall I won't be returning,”

  “The worst tasting Chinese I’ve ever had. It was bland and I couldn’t even finish my meal because I was afraid I’d get food poisoning. The 4.7 star reviews on just eat are 100% fake. Please don’t order from here, it’s disgusting.”

  “We ordered through Just Eat, only to be informed almost an hour later that our order had been cancelled. It said on the Just Eat website that the reason was ‘no couriers’ which is a lie. We called the premises and they said they weren’t accepting new customers. The man on the phone didn’t apologise, and told me he knew the law and they have the right to refuse custom. Appalling attitude. I would recommend going to a takeaway that respects its customers and is honest with them.”

  “Order from them at half 6 for a delivery. Was happy to wait untill gone 8pm for it. Spent £35+ to get an email at 7.20 saying the order is cancelled. I ring and ask why and it's because they don't take first time orders from people. Doesn't state this anywhere. Very unhelpful”

  “This family run business as the wow factor. Amazing fresh food always served hot and with a warm welcome from the counter. The more you order you regularly get free spring rolls also homemade cakes. In all this place is the best Chinese takeaway in Nottingham and I've been to lots. Thank you so much for beautiful food”
