Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to home cooked food at this pub, with the salmon named repeatedly as a highlight, including one table that had a seafood sauce added to theirs. Close behind are the steak night, where the steak is described as cooked to perfection, and the onion rings and real chips. Several mention generous portions, and one parent notes a gluten free daughter had several burger options. The service draws consistent praise, with the bar and floor staff described as friendly, polite, attentive and funny. Diners also mention dogs being welcome inside and on the outdoor seating. One group of 18 pre-ordered for a birthday and said starters arrived within minutes of everyone being seated, and another hired the pub to cater a family event. No recurring complaints appear in the reviews, and the pub is also described as clean with a rustic farmhouse feel.
