About The Weavers Arms
On Muspole St in Colegate, Norwich, The Weavers Arms is a pub with a dining room. The menu leans on steak, with rump steak with peppercorn sauce and frites alongside a T-bone and a butler steak, so the kitchen suits anyone planning a steak dinner. Vegan diners have a root vegetable wellington, and gluten free options are available. A Sunday roast comes with lamb, chicken or a vegetarian option, plus an all the meats choice. At the bar, real ales are on tap and a guest red wine rounds out the drinks. Tables can be booked on the pub's website, and walk-ins are welcome. Weekend evenings are busy.

Customer Review Summary
Sunday roast is the most frequent draw at The Weavers Arms, with reviewers praising the lamb and chicken versions, the vegetarian option, and an all-the-meats plate, and one calling it the best roast they have had. Steak comes close behind, including a butler steak described as the star of the mains, a rump steak with peppercorn sauce, and a 1.2kg T-bone cooked perfectly. Others mention halibut, sole, oysters, pork belly bites, a Croque Madam, a root vegetable wellington for a vegan diner, and a Basque cheesecake with rhubarb compote. Real ales and a martini espresso stout get a nod, and reviewers describe friendly staff, a dog given a bowl of offcuts, and space made on a busy Saturday evening. The caveats are specific. One diner found steak and chips expensive with no extras and the peppercorn sauce only OK, and another says the earlier menu is gone since the start of 2026 and sees the new one as an imitation of Flat Iron, so they doubt they will eat there again. Dishes arriving piping hot is a recurring detail, and one reviewer sat outside for lunch on a beautiful day.
