About Lamb Inn
Lamb Inn is a pub on Haymarket in Norwich, and the second oldest pub in the city centre, said to be haunted by at least three ghosts. It is open daily and runs over two floors, with an ordering bar downstairs and seating upstairs. The menu covers burgers, steak pie and Katsu curry, and a vegetarian cooked breakfast comes with eggs, hash browns, mushrooms and grilled tomato. Bottomless brunch includes food along with a drinks service. The bar pours beers on tap, cocktails, spirits and wines, and large screens show sports throughout the pub. Candles are lit in the early evening, and the music gets loud on busy nights, including Saturday.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the friendly staff and the lively, vibrant atmosphere, with the outside area and dog-friendly seating mentioned as draws. Bottomless brunch comes up several times, and one group felt the food option was better than others and got their worth of drinks. Another found the drinks service slow, with one drink in 30 minutes despite a quiet room. Food splits sharply. Some call the pub grub hearty and well presented, while others describe a rock-hard steak pie with cold veg, a bland Katsu curry that looked like a microwave meal, a tasteless burger, and a vegetarian breakfast with tough butter, hard grilled tomato and eggs sitting on warmed-up bread. One reviewer felt a toastie with stale, hard filling fell well short of its photo and its large price tag. One diner says music was so loud on a Saturday evening that conversation was impossible. One reviewer recalls a server replying "I will if I remember" when asked to come back in five minutes, returning after about ten.

“Just had our 2nd bottomless brunch here. The 1st we had in december was brilliant which is why we decided to book again. Unfortunately I was disappointed with this one. Considering there was hardly anyone here having bottomless brunches, the drinks service was very slow. We had one drink in 30 mins. The food was good and the waitress was nice but the drink service was slow. Im not sure I would book a bottomless brunch here again.”

“I went with a group for a bottomless brunch for £36. more than some on offer but the food option offered was much better. Was satisfied that we got our worth of drinks too. Friendly helpful staff, lovely seating option, atmosphere lively and dog friendly, cheers.”

“A really good pub with a vibrant atmosphere! Love the outside area and all the staff were super friendly… but I hate to be a picky Karen but just look at the attached photo of the toastie I order it’s pictured next to the photo of what I assumed it would be like full of filling and worth the very large £9 price tag for a toastie. But £9 for what I got is absolutely crazy. Filling was stale and like hard slop. Definitely needs improvement if your advertising that picture charging £9 and delivering that.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Lamb Inn is a fantastic pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel at home by the friendly and attentive staff. The food is excellent, with generous portions, high-quality ingredients, and plenty of choice on the menu. The drinks selection is also great, with a good range of beers, wines, and spirits. The pub has a cozy and traditional feel, making it the perfect place to relax with family and friends. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, a drink, or a special occasion, The Lamb Inn consistently delivers excellent service and a memorable experience. Highly recommended, and I look forward to visiting again soon!”

“The food is very very low quality who ever orders the food for this place should be ashamed. This is honestly the worst plate of food i have ever eaten. The food was cooked perfectly But seriously there food is the lowest quality ive ever seen way below budget supermarket quality. I will be sure to leave some reviews on other food review sites with photos to match. Lovely manager, staff and perfectly cooked food. Who ever your food suppy comes from will ruin your business honestly your greed for profit margin is discusting.”

“A traditional pub over two floors that is anything but traditional. The Lamb Inn is the second oldest pub within the city centre (haunted by at least three ghosts). The Lamb Inn is ideally located for shoppers and those popping out for lunch during the day, then in the early evening candles get lit and we have our own very special atmosphere. Our pub is also home to the best courtyard in the city centre”
