“Romas - named after the original proprietor, Roma Hamill, is a genuine Newtownards institution and has been part of Regent Street and the town’s social life since the 1960s. More than 60 years later, it’s still a popular place to eat, drink and socialise. There’s a good selection of food on the menu, with the quality consistently impressive, along with a great range of cocktails and drinks. The two downstairs bars have a cosy, welcoming feel and is a nice spot whether you’re calling in for a meal or just a drink. They also have good entertainment on certain nights, which adds to the atmosphere. It’s great to see such a long-established Newtownards name still going strong and continuing to be such a well-known part of the town.”

We had two Steak Sizzlers, one with chips and one with Champ and Chicken Goujons with French fries. Everyone really enjoyed the food and the selection on the menu. The service was great too. “The food was unbelievable! Not only amazing quality but definitely well priced. You couldn't fault the service if you tried. The show cooking was class, the chef was excellent and the laughs we got from the interactions simply made the night. Would highly recommend to all and will definitely be back again and again.
