Customer Review Summary

Half the reviewers are unhappy, and delivery is the sore point. Several say orders arrived far later than the time they were quoted, one of them so late it woke them, and another describes a phone complaint that turned into an argument. The food is described as lukewarm or cold, with hard, re-cooked chips, rubbery pizza, a wrong and dry order, and a base that tasted like cheap frozen dough. One reviewer says a king kebab was mostly donner meat with little chicken or beef, and was told portions had just increased. One reviewer also notes that a courier swapped their bottled water for 1.5 litres of 7 Up and offered a refund.

“I’ve had to come back to change my previous positive review after last night’s shambles. This place has really gone downhill lately, I don’t know whether they have new management or what but last time we had it I can recall it being very nice, however last night we waited well over an hour, we ended up ringing them to see where it was, our friends ordered a Domino’s and it was here in about 10-15 minutes and they’d finished their pizza before ours had even arrived! You can’t tell me it was as busy as Domino’s and they’re coming from the same area so I’ve no idea why it took so long. When it arrived it was all lukewarm, the chips were hard and my pizza tasted cheap and there was a strange taste mixed amongst it. Definitely not as nice as I remember it! It also tasted like a very cheap frozen pizza base, I don’t remember the dough ever being that bad! I remember the bolognaise pizza being hot and freshly made and very doughy! We won’t be ordering from here again! I actually prefer the pizzas in the M&S pizza meal deal which you can buy for £14!”

“Honestly, I don’t understand why this place has so many 5* reviews. We’ve just spent £30 to receive a tiny amount of food, most of which is from Costco, and was delivered cold. When I phoned to complain, I was told they have just increased the portion sizes… really bad. We bought a king kebab (mixed meat) got four pieces of chicken, a little beef, and the rest is just woefully overpriced Donner meat. We’ve been offered a compensatory discount on our next order… there won’t be one.”

“Food is really good and prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend!”

“The food was delicious and to the courier what a nice lady substituted my bottles of water for 1.5litre of 7 up that was extremely thoughtful as I can’t stand tap water and didn’t want to go thirsty but offered to refund me but I opted for the soda, what a great asset to your team I usually don’t order but I felt lazy on a Sunday, thank you to everyone will definitely order again when I prefer to cheat my diet once in a blue moon”

“Yeah... Don't bother... 2 hours 10 minutes late and woke me up when I have to be up at 03:30 in the morning... I was told 45 minutes to an hour and no communication... No good and the food was probably cold anyway!!”
