  “Had an amazing experience at Pizzeria Italia Newcastle. The pizza was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour, with a perfectly cooked base and high-quality toppings. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere felt genuinely Italian and made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best pizza places in Newcastle, and I'll be returning soon. Highly recommended! Bufula pizza is my top favourite here!!!!”

  “4yrs later and im still going back because it still tastes amazing. Love the food. Love the atmosphere, but in the past year its gone down a bit. Sorry. But it has. Hate to say it. Food standards are still the same, beautiful 🤤 but the service has gone down a bit. Introduced a service charge for sitting in and I swear I'm not being racist but the new staff couldn't understand me. Really lovely people. But, 4 times I had to repeat myself. Wasnt easy to order. Sat down and the wait was reasonable but the pizza came out 5 minutes before the chips. As the pics show. 2 of our party are 2/3 slices in before the chips arrived. Disappointed with the service, deffo not the staff. Just disappointed with the service, especially after being charged for it, at the very least I expect to be understood and the food should come out all at the same time, that's standard service without being charged. Still highly recommend. Best in the area and will always return.”

  “An Absolute Gem of a Pizza Place! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place takes real pride in what they do. The shop was spotless — clean, tidy, and welcoming, with that lovely aroma of fresh pizza dough baking in the oven. Now, let’s talk about the pizza — wow. It was everything you’d hope for and more: perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and bursting with flavour in every bite. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients — the rich tomato sauce, the gooey cheese, and that perfect balance of seasoning that just makes you want another slice straight away. The customer service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we were happy with our order. It’s rare to see that level of warmth and professionalism these days, and it really made the whole experience stand out. Overall, an absolutely amazing visit. Delicious food, fantastic service, and a spotless shop — everything you could ask for in a great pizza place. I’ll definitely be coming back again and recommending it to everyone I know!”

  “Pizzeria Italia served tasty food and was very welcoming. The restaurant has a beautiful frieze on the back wall. It proved an inspired choice of venue to meet with a friend. I was impressed by the texture of the pizza I ordered. The flavours were good.”

  “Fantastic place for both a sit down meal or picking up a takeaway. The food is sublime and not just the pizza, but the lasagne and arancini are great as well as the chocolate cake and coffee. Service is second to none. You will always get a friendly welcome. It can be very busy at times though but worth the short wait. Lunchtime deals on pizza is very good on a Friday too. Overall it is just exquisite and can't recommend them highly enough.”

  “Very enjoyable fare. Just a stop over in the Pennines on my way to Scotland.. 40 minute drive from Edmundbyers but very worthwhile. Nice interior decor, good customer manner and delicious food. Deservedly high opinions in the reviews on Google”

  “Wow, Absolutely delighted to find this place. Super authentic, super tasty(delicious dough)and super value.Popped in at lunchtime with my son and his eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the size of the lunchtime special pizza. Lovely friendly and polite young lady serving us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended”
