  “Entering through the train carriage is pure theatre, and it only gets better from there. Examplary, friendly service from Ash and his team. Fantastically tasty food - the tikka salon might have ousted garlic chilli chicken as my go-to curry. And fantastic value for money, with two starters, two mains, mushroom rice, peshwari naan, and two beers coming in at £50 on a Saturday night. Sensational.”

  “Good table, efficient service even though they were very busy. We had a range of food dishes, all were very good with flavour and just about the right level of spice and heat. Quantities easily enough for 1 person per dish. Pleasant friendly busy atmosphere.”

  “Absolutely loved our dinner date here, the train theme made us feel cosy and nostalgic. Good food and even better service, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Must try if you are looking for a special place to celebrate your date night. For dessert, the Orange Sorbet is highly recommended.”

  “I have had one of the best Indian meals ever, and I have had plenty from all over. I called on the off chance and wasn't disappointed. I had the best pickle tray ever (see photo) and then followed with a Chickpea dish. Not that I am vegetarian, but I just wanted something different to try. I wasn't disappointed at all. I will definitely be returning when I am next in Newcastle. However, saying all that the price of a pint of soda and lime was over the top at £4:00 for a pint 😲.”

  “Unique Indian restaurant near the old Jesmond station. Exceptionally friendly staff with very prompt service. The menu is vast and the sides in particular were a standout especially the lemon rice. At first I was concerned the portions were a little small but we left almost perfectly full and payed a very reasonable price. Definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone in town or staging in Jesmond.”
