  “What you notice when you first walk in, is how well kept the decor is, very clean and tidy, and of course the staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was good and tasty, service prompt and although very busy felt we were being well looked after. There is a great number of parking spaces, and I liked the outdoor eating area was split into smoking and non-smoking areas. There is also a lovely area for young children to play. Overall would recommend for any occasion and family friendly.”

  “Lovely pub restaurant!! Food was delicious and served quickly. Hats off to Jeremy Clarkson and the Hawkstone family for an incredible Hawkstone IPA and Beef Pie, easily the best pie I’ve had! Credit to Two Watermills for serving it. Staff were friendly, polite and willing to go the extra mile to please, even during a busy period, thank you to Josh our server for a great experience. Amenities include, outdoor play area for children, outdoor seating, beer garden and EV charging and more. There was also dog treats and water available by the front door. The place itself has a lovely vibe, very spacious including seating, clean and brilliantly decorated. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and hope to visit again soon.”

  “We dropped in for our anniversary meal and were pleasantly surprised. Although they were short on bar staff, once we were served and ordered our food this was brought out in 15-20 minutes and was very enjoyable. We had a 40% off voucher which was a bonus 😋. Sirloin cooked to perfection and huge fish & chips. Would definitely recommend the food 👌🏻 x”

  “A regular visitor. I am always made to feel welcome and get excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Excellent choice of beer and varied menu. Can't wait till my next visit. It won't be long!”

  “We had my dads 60 birthday meal and ther was a lots of us there about 20 people the food came out very promptly and was hot and cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going back to the two water Mills we could not have asked for a better day for my dad, thank you so much. Our server was called Esme. The bar staff were amazing.”

  “Booked a table for my wife’s birthday on Sunday 1st March. We arrived looking for any staff but there was only one person serving behind the bar. So we lined up at the bar waiting to speak with someone about our reservation. We waited for approximately 15 minutes until we got to the front of the queue. In the meantime other staff members were walking past us ignoring us completely. We stopped and asked one person and he said: “wait for your turn at the bar”. We were shown to our table and given menus. They told us that Jack would be our server - a young chap. We ordered our food and asked for some vegetables to arrive with our starters for our 2 year old. The starters arrived but no vegetables. When asking Jack he said “Oh, don’t worry. You’ll get it with your mains..”. If I wanted it with my mains I would have ordered it with my mains.. Jack was not to be seen or touch base on our table to see how the food was or any other drinks. So we had to walk to the bar to ask for more drinks! Starters done - no one to clear the table for 15 minutes. We spotted Jack and we asked him to clear the table - something he did. Again we were not offered any drinks or asked how our starters were. And then the main course arrived! I ordered a fillet steak cooked Medium for £38.00! The steak arrived and it was cooked well done!!! I was very upset and there was no one to check upon us to raise this issue with them. So I got up and looked for our server. I told him that my steak was not as I ordered it and he said “Let me check”. He comes back and he says “I am sorry. Is there anything else I can do to you?” At that point I was so upset and they had ruined the birthday dinner for my wife. I went to the bar to pay. The same server asked me if everything was ok as if as he didn’t know the issues we had - I had just explained it to him 5 yards away and 20 seconds before. I was so disappointed and I would never - ever set a foot in that place again! As for the manager…? He should train his staff to provide good service. A total disappointment that cost me £108.00!!!”

  “Well today was my Dads birthday who chose here as he visits regularly. What can I say , the whole experience from the welcome of your manager , who recognised my dad , to service at the bar, service of the food ,which was all exemplary and the food was amazing too Your team at this site was so professional, and they had a such togetherness and ensured our day went without a hitch. To top it all after all this , my dad who is in a wheelchair, had the head chef open the door for him when leaving. I have eaten in many top establishments that don’t have the togetherness and professionalism of customer service this team has and the manager needs to be congratulated on all of this. If I was to highlight one person that made the whole day enjoyable then it was the server , who went above and beyond”

  “The food was good, although not everything stated on the menu was on the plate, I politely raised my hand and said excuse me to get the waitresses attention on five attempts as she walked over to the table and looked at me, but every time she just went off to do something else. I slowed my eating pace to hope to get what was missing and eventually had to go to the bar whilst I still had any food left to go with it. I didn't want the rest of the table to have to get up to let me out as I was pinned in. The starter was a good size, the main was a little lacking in quantity and the dessert was reasonable for the price set for the 3 course lunch offer (£19). Later the waitress came over and asked if we would like any more drinks, a few said yes please and she walked away without taking any orders. The setting was nice, tidy and relatively peaceful.”

  “We had a farewell meal for a work colleague at Two Watermills, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, creating the perfect backdrop for our evening. The food was absolutely stunning, with every dish cooked to perfection. A special thanks to our waitress, Ruby, and waiter, Craig, for their exceptional service – they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening. Thank you, Two Watermills, for making our night so special!”
