  “Missus and I really enjoyed our first time here and will def come back again. We were served quickly and courteously and the garden area was a lovely place to enjoy our meal which was cooked by Chris the chef amazingly. Thanks for the experience! Great value for money and a gem of a pub in Newbury. PS: fantastic Guinness too.”

  “Brought a minibus of people up from Bristol for the races and while they were at the races I was enjoying a amazing Steak Americano with peppercorn sauce garlic bread and a orange juice and lemonade. Food was great and staff and the locals were very friendly. Next minibus to Newbury il be back”

  “Went for lunch on Saturday and not too busy, able to find a table easily. A good range for food and drinks at the bar. Very nice puddings especially! Service was minimal to serving. Table very sticky though. The general atmosphere very friendly and welcoming.”

  “Had the most amazing Mother Day meal out with the family. Kirstie cooked the roast and cauliflower cheese to perfection and the toffee apple crumble was to die for. Thanks again for outstanding service and food”

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude. They were eager to assist, providing recommendations from the menu and ensuring my visit was enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed their traditional Sunday Roast, which was delicious and well-prepared.
