Customer Review Summary
Pizza leads the praise, with reviewers singling out a crisp crust and an outstanding tomato sauce, and one Italian diner crediting ingredients sourced directly from Italy. Close behind are the seafood pasta, a lamb shank described as tender and falling off the bone, and calamari that was tender and crispy. Others mention the garlic oil appetizer, prawn cocktails and the coffee, and one reviewer recommends the Fiorentina. Staff are called friendly and welcoming, and several diners came for family meals and birthdays. Opinions on cost differ, with some calling prices reasonable and one saying it runs on the pricier side but always good quality. The complaints are few but specific. One reviewer found the food very average apart from the potatoes and coffee, and said a server's attitude changed partway through the meal. Another found the music too loud for easy conversation, and one was brought bottled water rather than tap. One birthday diner singles out the thick, creamy cheesecake with a berry compote that was neither too sharp nor too sweet.

“We had a family meal here tonight and like always it's been very enjoyable. We had prawn cocktails for starters, followed by 3 different mains and 2 different deserts. All was very delicious and great value for money”

“Due to train cancellations, my birthday plans had to change and so we stumbled across this restaurant as a happy accident. They happily squeezed us in, and the place felt very welcoming overall. The food was absolutely scrumptious. For me, the cheesecake with a highlight. It was so thick and creamy with a delicious berry compote that wasn’t too sharp or too sweet. The service here was absolutely impeccable, really really attentive. I don’t like a big fuss made, so they weren’t aware it was my birthday, but the experience still felt special because of their lovely service. All-in-all, I think we’ve found a new go-to spot!”
