  “Very disappointing experience at La Banca. The menu describes the Carbonara as “made with egg yolk and Parmesan” which sounds like a traditional Carbonara. Unfortunately, what arrived at the table was completely different. The spaghetti was swimming in what tasted like double cream, with little to no noticeable flavour of egg yolk or Parmesan. It tasted nothing like a proper Carbonara. The lasagna was equally disappointing. It looked and tasted as though it had simply been reheated in a microwave, rather than freshly prepared. I have no problem with a restaurant putting its own spin on a dish, but if you’re going to describe something on the menu as being made with egg yolk and Parmesan, that’s what I expect to receive. Overall, the food was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, did not live up to what the menu promised. Calling this authentic Italian food is a serious stretch.”

  “Nicely located in a corner of Carshalton beeches high street this Italian place surprises with food, service and decor. Amazing selection of vegetarian options including soups, pizza, pasta, salads and risotto. A wide selection of healthy vegetarian sides as well(beans, broccoli in garlic oil). They also have Gluten Free pasta which was great. GF pizza will be a great addition to menu! Service was very warm as well with every waiter being friendly and polite. Overall ambience was pretty good as well.”

  “It was our first time at La Banca. I drive past once a week and it's always busy and the atmosphere looks good, so we decided to try. It did no disappoint! We had a lovely time at La Banca celebrating mother's day. Every one was welcoming and the food was delicious 😋 I had sardines, confit duck and the limoncello tart. All amazing! We'll definitely return!”

  “Couldn’t of picked a better restaurant for Valentine’s Day The staff were lovely professional and welcoming the setting was romantic and elegant The food came quick and no waiting around just normal amounts The beef steak was just out of this world fell apart easily the swordfish starter was beautiful The price was 37 .99 for a set menu and was very fair and the desert was calloni which was just insanely tasty ! Will be coming back thank you”

  “Cannot fault this restaurant at all. First visit, didn't book. It was 8pm so they managed to find us a table after waiting 10min. I would recommend to book as it was packed. The cocktails were made so well, we had quiet a few. My favourite has to be the pornstar martini. We had 3 courses, all were incredible. So delicious. We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend”

  “A last minute booking to take my father out for lunch. I hadn’t been here before , and my father had mixed reviews but I thought the menu looked good. I dont know why it would have mixed reviews, the staff and food were faultless. We were welcomed warmly and seated comfortably by the window. We were attended to quickly through our visit, but never rushed. Between 3 of us we had Bruschetta, Calamari and Gamberoni to start. Followed by Pesce Spada alla Sicilian (2), and Spiedini di Pesce and finished with a cheesecake , affogato and an Espresso. My favourite dishes were the Gamberoni which was a generous portion of prawns bathing in a garlicky butter and spinach sauce, and Pesce Spada , a large piece of swordfish smothered in a rich tomato, olive and caper berry sauce with a fresh and zesty side salad. Thank you to Casa Blanca for brightening a dreary Thursday. We will see you again”

  “I've been here twice so far, once for dinner with friends and again for lunch with family and I will certainly be back. Everyone there is lovely and welcoming and the food is tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the seafood skewers...but that's because it wasn't to my taste, as the rest of our group actually loved. I prefer saucy dishes. The prawn pasta, seafood pasta, lasagne, Bolognese and pomodoro have all been a hit and the cocktail was the perfect amount of sweet and alcoholic. I have not tried desert yet, so one for next time. But would definitely highly recommend.”

  “Went to La Banca for dinner on Sunday, and we had an amazing experience. Felt very welcomed and the inside atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant is very spacious with excellent ambience. The service was prompt, and food came quickly. We opted for the Sunday menu, which had some brilliant offers, and selected a few dishes from their traditional menu. Everything tasted delicious, and we would go to La Banca again! The waiters were extremely friendly and never rushed our decisions, would recommend to others.”
