  “We had a really lovely dinner at Sebastian’s in Richmond. I had the pasta with prawns, which was absolutely delicious , the prawns were perfectly cooked and fresh and the whole dish was beautifully prepared. The crème brûlée was also excellent. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, and everything felt spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely throughout the evening. It isn’t the cheapest place to eat, but we felt it was well worth the money for the quality of the food, the surroundings and the service. We had a really enjoyable evening and would definitely go back.”

  “Honestly, I was really surprised by the 4.6 rating, genuinely expected so much more. The base, and the pizza as a whole, tasted like something you’d pull out of the freezer at M&S, not what you’d hope for from a proper Italian restaurant. The mozzarella was the biggest letdown, it barely tasted like real mozzarella, more like a bland cheese product than anything authentic. Such a shame, because I really wanted to love it. On the plus side, the staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, so if you fancy popping in just for the atmosphere and a friendly chat, go for it, just don’t come expecting a memorable meal”

  “The welcome and service were friendly, but unfortunately the food was quite disappointing except for few items. We were not informed that one of the dishes we had chosen was unavailable, so we had to change our order at the last minute. The main disappointment was the pasta.. It's an ltalian restaurant after all.. The portion was extremely large with only a few pieces of fish that honestly looked as though it had simply been thrown onto the plate, rather than being properly incorporated into the dish. The proportions were completely unbalanced, and the overall taste was very blan, no ratio at all. Homemade.. Very serious doubts about The concern was mentioned at the quick checkback, but unfortunately no one came back to try to resolve the issue or offer an alternative which is kind of sad as we genuinely expected a better service. When you are paying for a dish nearly 30£ in an Italian restaurant, you expect the pasta, sauce and main ingredient to be balanced and well prepared and presented, this simply wasn't the case. It's a shame, because the welcome was pleasant, drinks served at the appropriate temperature, but unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations at all. Hope these feedbcs help to improve the overall performance as we understand that people might accept some kind of standards but quality, taste, presentation, service are all part of the same experience.”

  “We had dinner here last night for our (vegan) daughter’s 28th birthday. They went through options available to her which was a good start. She said her gnocchi was lovely. I had the seafood linguine which was delicious and will be back again for this very dish. Lovely ambience and the staff were attentive.”

  “🙏🏼 Om 😃 We had a fantastic birthday lunch here during the recent London heatwave. The restaurant has a lovely, pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, kindly allowing us to swap our reserved table for a quieter spot. The food was absolutely delicious: 🍕 The Pizzas: The dough is exquisite—perfectly thin and crispy with a beautifully fruity tomato sauce. 🧆 Vegetarian Antipasti Platter: A wonderful selection and highly recommended for sharing. What really set the experience apart was the seamless, uninterrupted service. Despite being looked after by a few different servers, everything flowed perfectly. To top it off, they completely surprised our birthday child with a lovely fruit sorbet and flashing candles—a truly thoughtful touch. Outstanding hospitality and service from start to finish. We will definitely be back!”

  “We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Sebastian’s Italian. We ordered the garlic bread with fior di latte mozzarella, gamberoni alla Sebastian, Margherita pizza, Regina de Napoli pizza, and the gnocchi alla Sebastian. Each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The tomato base on the pizzas was perfectly balanced with a natural sweetness and none of the bitterness that can sometimes occur. The pizza crusts were light, fluffy, and delicately crisp, allowing the toppings to sit perfectly without sliding off. The gnocchi was delightful – light, comforting, and very well executed. What truly completed the experience was the exceptional customer service. The staff were warm, attentive, and very welcoming throughout our visit. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and an establishment I would happily return to.”

  “I visited Sebastian’s Italian for Valentine’s Day and was initially hesitant, as it is often difficult to find truly good Italian food outside of Italy. After reading the Google reviews, I felt cautiously hopeful. They exceeded my expectations. The customer service, which many people mention, was exceptional. I am usually quick to request removal of the service charge if the service is poor, but that was not the case here. Although our initial order was taken incorrectly, the team handled it well. Our waiter was attentive, helpful and accommodating throughout, and they kindly allowed us to move seats without hesitation. For starters, we had the Melanzana alla Parmigiana. It was rich and full of flavour. The tomato sauce was outstanding. My only suggestion would be to serve it with two slices of bread instead of one, as the sauce deserves it. For mains, I had the Pappardelle al Ragu di Anatra. The portion was generous with plenty of duck, and the flavour was excellent. The only reason I settled on four stars instead of five is that the pasta could have been slightly more al dente. We also ordered the Controfiletto di Manzo al Pepe Verde. The steak was exceptional. It was fresh, high quality and genuinely melted in the mouth. The only downside was that there was not quite enough peppercorn sauce to complement it fully. Everything arrived hot and fresh, which made a noticeable difference. The highlight of the evening was the Torta alle Mele e Cannella. The apple and cinnamon cake with ice cream was outstanding. It is the kind of dessert you immediately want again. We also had the Red Velvet Tiramisu ai Frutti di Bosco. The strawberries, blueberries and raspberries were fresh and vibrant, although I would have liked a slightly larger red velvet layer. Overall, I would return to Sebastian’s without hesitation and highly recommend it. The ambience is beautiful and well suited to a special occasion. If you are dining as a couple, I would suggest requesting a table further towards the back of the restaurant for a more intimate setting.”

  “Great choise as usual. I took there my family and friends many times already and I will keep doing it. The pizza is great and also the other italian dishes on the menu are authentic and tasty. They have accommodated us even if we didn't have the reservation on a busy Saturday night and they also brought the happy birthday plate for me, when we ordered the dessert, which is a splendid tiramisú. Definitely recommend it!”
